Chapter 12: The Truth!?

(Emma's POV)

~the next day~

So I found out that Nessa likes Tanner. It's okay i guess. I wasn't really mad. I still liked Jacob, but I didn't say anything until Tanner told me. We broke up but are still friends. " I got up early." I told myself. I went down stairs. "Mom?" I kinda yelled. Then I saw a note from my mom.

Morning Sweetie, I am at work. Got an earlier shift today. Anyways hope you have a good day ❤️ maybe this weekend we can go watch a movie together if you don't have any planes with your boyfriend or your friends. bye sweetie. See you soon.~ Mom

I miss hanging out with my mom. So I am going to hang with her this weekend. I got ready and went out as I saw Jacob. "Hey." he said. "hi." I said giving him a smile. "let's go!" he said with a smile. I just laughed a bit and got in the car. We went to the mall and saw Nessa and Tanner together with Peyton. "Hi guys." I said. "hey." said Peyton. "hey emma." said Tanner. "Hi Emma." said nessa with a smile on her face trying not to show she was crying. "Nessa are you okay?" I asked. "Um.. I gotta go sorry." said Nessa leaving. "Wait Nessa!" Both Tanner and Peyton ran after her. "hey guys what happened?" I asked. "Well, she isn't just sad because she hurt Jacob still but.. she kinda started to um.. fine out the truth on.. why her best friend left.. he had to leave because.. it's hard to explain but he just had go. He didn't have a chose. But he never wanted to hurt her.. they kinda had their whole life's planed since they were little.. they wanted to be best friends until they were older but still have contact with each other.. but it didn't go like that. And it hurts her now because she found out that he.. he.. he is okay but.. wont be coming back until who knows when and all she can do until them is wait but she is kinda tried of waiting because she has been waiting for a while now. 1 or 2 years and well it isn't easy for her." said Xolo. "Oh.." Both Jacob and I said. 

~after school~

(Jacob's POV) 

 After a while nessa didn't come back so I went to go fine her and check up on Nessa. "Hey Nessa." I said as I found her. "hey.." she said looking down. "you okay now??" I asked her. "No! I miss my best friend! Ugh! I fucken hate my life... they had to take him away from me!" she said crying and Tanner holding her. Wow, he must really like her now.. I wasn't upset at all. Well kinda was.. I never was able to hold her like that.. "you okay jacob?" asked Tanner. "Hu? Oh yea I am fine. Hey Nessa wanna get ice cream?" I asked her. "No thanks.. I just wanna go home.. but I can't.." she said. "why?" I asked. "because.. my mother was the one who.. told me why.. he.. he had to go.. she never told me.. I was so fucken scared something has happened to him.. he is okay! but.. he.. he doesn't remember me... he forgot me... she only told me because... we got into a fight.. and she was mad.. and told me.. Leo.. my older brother was mad at my mother but.. he couldn't do anything about it.. so Peyton and Tanner are letting me stay are their house for a few weeks." she said.  "Oh.. I am so sorry Nessa." I said. "It's okay!" she said giving me a weak smile.

"anyways we gotta go. she is going to get somethings from her house. bye Jacob." said Tanner holding her. "bye." she said. "bye guys." I said.

~at Nessa's house~

(Tanner's POV)

We got to her house. She went in and got somethings and came out with her Brother. "hey your tanner right?" he asked. "yea. that is me." I said. "okay well please take care of her. our mother- well she told you. she can't be around her right now. but please if anything just call me and i'll go. also she likes to go to our secret place when she is really sad so if anything ill tell you." he said. "okay. and no problem ill take her of her as if my life was going to end." I said.

(writing that line made me feel too single again 😂 😭)

"okay thanks. see you soon sis." he said as he hugged her. "bye." she said and hugged him back. Then we went to my house. "you can stay in my room if you want. I'll keep the guest room." I said with a smile on her face. "No it's okay. I'll take the guest room." she said. "No. It's fine." I said opening the door. We got in and I made some food as she went to my room. "nessa food's ready." I yelled and she came down. "okay. your house is amazing! also thanks for letting me stay." she says looking at me. "No problem Nessa." I said. We eat and did our homework. After that we went out but I texted Peyton first.

Tanner 😌: Hey Peyton.

Peyton😊💕: Hi Tanner is Nessa okay??

Tanner😌: yea nessa is fine anyways wanna come and hang with us?

Peyton😊💕: sure be there in 20

Tanner😌: okay bye

Peyton😊💕: bye

"Peyton is coming over by the way." I told Nessa. "Cool!" she said. "anyways where you wanna go?" I asked. "Umm Ice Cream." she said. "okay!" I said. Some few mins pasted by and Peyton came! "hey tanner. BESTIE!" said Peyton coming inside. "Hey Peyton!" said Nessa hugging her. "hi peyton." I said.  I saw as nessa and peyton were just talking about what they are going to do for a 'girls and one boy night' at my house. "So a sleepover?" I asked. "Yea! if its okay with you." said nessa. " of course! peyton is always welcomed! plus she has a key to my house. my mom kinda thought she was my girlfriend and well since my mom thought that i gave her a key to my house incase of anything." I said laughing. "Oh." said nessa laughing as well. "yea talking about that dose your mom still think that?" asked peyton. "not really ever since i started to date emma." i said. "oh okay!" she said happily. "well she didn't really like the idea of me dating someone right now. but i liked emma but now i kinda like someone else." i said looking at nessa for a second until she looked my way. "W-who do you like?" she asked. "I think i might know!" said Peyton.
