Sullyoon - Regret

So this story is kind of a prequel to the previous Sullyoon oneshot - The Last Dance.

Note: the previous oneshot was just inspired by this oneshot.

This oneshot is inspired by a song/old movie.

'Huh, what happened?' A man woke up to see himself lying in a room surrounded by white light.
'I can see now !?!?' He thought.
"You can even talk! , young man" An old man sitting on a chair beside a table said.

He then tried to speak, an experience he never got to try once...

"Ahhhh, I-I-I can talk now!" He said happily. "Wait... Where am I ?" He asked as he remembered the unfamiliar white surrounding.

"You are dead now..."

Flashback

"Hello, my name is Sullyoon and I'm the new nurse here!" Sullyoon politely greeted the patients in the floor she's assigned to.

After greeting most of the patients, she saw a patient who was staring into blank space and when she greeted him, he waved into the wall smiling.

Then another nurse came over and told her that he is a blind and mute patient that was living in the hospital and helped to translate documents into braille.

"My name is Y/n, nice to meet you." He wrote on the paper that he handed to Sullyoon.

Over time, Sullyoon got closer with Y/n who she had to collect documents from often in the corner room where he is located most of the time when not in the ward.

They would chat and laugh together

Seeing Y/n's long hair, Sullyoon offered to help cut his hair. "I will meet you at the corner room and then I will help cut your hair." Hyewon offered, to which Y/n accepted smiling.

One year later...

"Oh no, I'm sorry for coming late again. Let's start cutting your hair now then." A panting Sullyoon who just arrived said. "It's okay. Thanks for coming to cut my hair!" A happy Y/n who seated wrote on a piece of paper while looking to the front of him. Sullyoon continued to put her things down and started to prepare to cut his hair.

Sullyoon was clumsy and careless when it comes to cutting hair. She often cut Y/n while cutting his hair. But Y/n didn't mind it as  he had fallen in love with her.

After the haircutting session, Y/n walked Sullyoon to the nurse's dorm opposite the hospital.

As they arrived at the doorsteps of the dorm, Y/n asked Sullyoon on a date the next day.

"Sullyoon-ah... I-I like you... W-Would you want to go out with me tomorrow for dinner?" Y/n asked, passing a note to her while staring on the ground. Sullyoon smiled and slowly kissed him and wrote on his palms, "yes" .

Y/n cheered happily as he waved goodbye to her and walked back home. He was excited about the date and was running back home when he crossed a road and a car honking loudly at him. However, he was too excited and didn't hear it as all in his mind was about his dinner with Sullyoon... As a result, The car hit him on high impact and he flew far and died instantly....

Flashback ended
"I remembered now... So what's going to happen to me now?" Y/n asked the old man, who replied, "Reincarnation but first I will register your death." As the old man started writing on a thick book, he remarked "It looks like your officially the 10 billionth human to die... Do you have any wish ? Any thing you still want to do ?"
