Farewell - Ryujin

"I'm going to go out for a gathering with my friends."
Y/n looked at her and said, "Ok... have fun and don't be home too late, okay?"
Ryujin stopped and hesitated for a second, "Aren't you going to try and stop me from going? Usually you wouldn't want me going out at night..."

"But you would still go either way and we might end up having a little quarrel, it's fine, you can go, they are your also your fellow colleague in the industry." Y/n said, with a sense of sadness in his voice.

Ryujin thought hard about her past actions before going to Y/n and hugging him softly.
"I'm sorry... Next time I would stay at home and accompany you instead. I will try to go home early tonight. Okay?"

"It's fine. Maybe it won't matter anymore..." Y/n said while hugging her back.

As Ryujin got up to walk away, Y/n called and stopped her.

"Ryujinnie... Can you hug me one more time... just one more time before you go?" Y/n asked slowly.

Ryujin smiled and gave him a warm tight hug.

Y/n hugged her back and smelled her hair, hoping to remember her scent... "Ryujin-ah, next time you attend gatherings, remember to not go home too late... I will make some food later, if you come home and feeling hungry, you can just heat it up and then eat it, alright?"

Ryujin smiled and giggled at his sweet behaviour, giving him a kiss on the lips, "Okay!!! I got it!!! I love you a lot, Y/n"

Y/n closed his eyes and continued hugging her, "I love you too, Ryujin..."

"I gotta go now, don't stay up to wait for me, okay?" Ryujin told him.

Y/n nodded, his eyes slighting starting to look as if he is going to tear up.

"Bye!!!" Ryujin said and waved to him before she left the apartment.

"Goodbye too..." Y/n said before slowly entering their room.

As Ryujin spent a few hours at the gathering, enjoying herself as she was having a nice time talking and making new friends.

She sees the time and starts to think about Y/n who she left at home alone for so long, "I think I'm going to go now, bye!!!" She excused herself.

"Alright fine, I guess it's time for everyone to go home now, since it is already late." One of the people there said.

Everyone said their goodbyes and then started going their respective ways.

Ryujin waited for a cab outside, Yuna came beside her and talked to her.
"Going home to meet Y/n Oppa!"
"Yea! I think I will start decreasing the gatherings I'm attending. Y/n doesn't really me going out at night and he wants to spend more time with me."
"Well, that's good, aren't you spending time with him already?" Yuna asked.

Ryujin thought and realised she been so busy that she haven't spend too much time with him.

Ryujin shook her head, Yuna was about to talk more with her until a taxi arrived and Yuna told Ryujin to get in first, she would wait for another one.

Ryujin thanked her, Yuna smiled and asked her to give her greetings to Y/n.

Within 20 minutes, Ryujin arrived home and started opening the door. 'Y/n will be happy to see me home!"

As she smiled thinking of Y/n, she opens the door to only be greeted by a cold, dead eerie silence in the whole apartment. She could see some plates of food on the dining table and a letter with it.

She sat down on a chair and read the letter.

'Dear Ryujin, by the time you see this letter, I would be gone from this home. I hope you will take care of yourself and live well, I thought long about this decision and maybe we are not meant for each other... I have cooked some food for you, stocked the refrigerator and some medicine in case of a fever or flu in the drawer of your table. If you need some help or someone to talk to you, you are welcome to call me.'

As Ryujin finished reading this, she struggled to swallow her saliva and took a deep breathe. She look around the table and saw the food that Y/n cooked for her before leaving, it was all her favourite dishes.

Ryujin then went and checked the refrigerator and see it stocked with groceries. The drawer of her table was stocked with Panadol and some other medicine to help with gastric, fever and other type of diseases that she might get.

She closes her eyes and gets reminded of when she left Y/n alone despite him being sick, all for the sake of going out with friends.

'Ryujinnie, I'm having a fever now... Can you don't go out today and stay at home and accompany me tonight?' Y/n said softly while lying down weakly at bed.

'I will be out for 1-2 hours only okay? I promise I will be back home soon' Ryujin said while patting his head.

Y/n look down and nodded before preparing to sleep.

Remembering this, Ryujin regretted not treating Y/n better, neglecting him often. Now alone, she took a warm shower to try and wash away her thoughts away.

But... even after a long warm shower, she stepped out of the bathroom and could feel the coldness of the silence in the apartment instantly, she went into her room to change into her clothes, she could see the clear differences in the room...

All of Y/n's belongings are gone and his clothes too. Except for one hoodie, she remembers this specific hoodie.

It was his favourite, he always worn it on cold days, seeing the hoodie made Ryujin remind her of him smiling and wearing the hoodie.

She took it from the closet and hugged it, smelling Y/n's scent from the hoodie. It was almost as if Y/n hadn't left... She imagined she was hugging Y/n... telling him to not leave, that she would be a better girlfriend... but it was all too late.

After a while, she sat and tried eating some of the food Y/n cooked for her. She took a bite slowly and struggled to swallow the food down, as if it was a rock. She couldn't help but sobbed as she remembered how on some occasions Y/n cooked for her after she came home from performing but she didn't even eat much of it before going to the room and sleep.

Ryujin ate abit of the food and kept the rest in the fridge, she could reheat it when she wants to eat. She now walked back and laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling... no more Y/n that would cuddle or sleep beside her and help cover her with blanket when the blanket fall off.

She closed her eyes, hoping to fall asleep quickly. Maybe it was just a bad dream.... Maybe she is struggling to come to terms with reality...
She just hoped... hoped that Y/n will be back...
