8AM in New York, Equinox Hotel.

The man shuffled through the papers in his hand expressionlessly as hundreds of notes were cluttering on his table, light from his computer screen flickering as news from Italy was being broadcasted. He stopped reading for a moment to snort.

"The city is only covering for NIS? Oh, right because Bronco's men drew the sunflower so I suppose they can't help that one out."

Instead of feeling annoyed or dumbfounded at the man's covered corpse, he laughed at the screen and went back to read the printed files in his lap as he relaxed on the long sofa.

"Shin Soyun and Shin Sungrok..." he muttered, looking through the papers his men sent. He skipped the trivial notes such as birth dates and blood types, "How can one love her parents so much to become an NIS agent simply for revenge? Very unusual."

"The difference is really questionable." There was a chuckle from his phone beside him.

"Unknown, you were online?" he turned.

"It was probably a stroke of luck and chance that Kim Namjoon found her. Darn that bastard, spreading his tenacity." Unknown snickered harshly and Haneul frowned, "He was probably the one who killed off Bronco —"

"You said Kim Namjoon?" he read another paper pensively.

"Her mentor," explained the other but Haneul seemed to be distracted by something else the moment he heard that particular word, "Picked her up at age twenty when she was fifteen. Former head of the inspection team, soon-to-be head chief of NIS. Not very reliable at the moment though."

"Her mentor..." A wicked smile slowly made way to his lips as the person on the other line went silent, "Unknown, you know what I'm thinking don't you?"
