So I'm not very sure how smooth this will go but basically from the 37th chapter and onwards, there will be three different versions of each chapter because that's where the routes stuff will officially start. Meaning, there will be three routes & three endings because this book has three love interests.

For examples, I'll start naming and arranging the chapters like:

| 38 |

UHHHH. Idk if this layout looks a little uglee but yeah. I'm gonna make three route banner chapters (idk what you can call them), I guess and then group their following chapters like that. 🤔

So like, I know some readers may have different preferred male leads for our OC, Shin Soyun. Maybe some of yall like the good but also lowkey bad boy type of male lead like Joon or a male lead like Tae which usually comes with a dark romance novel vibe 😳. And because these two has known Soyun longer.

YEP THAT'S WHY WE'RE GONNA GIVE ALL OF THESE MALE LEADS A CHANCE. And you might wonder how it might go from here because everything that happened from chapter 1 to 36 is canon/real, including the fact that Soyun has developed feelings for Jungkook and that she's decisive with turning down Taehyung next after turning down Namjoon.

BUT. She hasn't turned down Taehyung yet and yeah, we don't know what he might do (okay I know that I know though 🧐🖐️). And Namjoon still loves her. While Jungkook might hesitate. So the what ifs are still there, many possibilities are there if OC or the male leads make different choices. Like in real life I guess, where there can be many outcomes out of many decisions you could've made on something. And I was like okay let's write out how it would turn out if these what ifs happened instead but it was also because Namjoon and Taehyung deserve their chances too. AND I KINDA PROMISED TO WRITE 3 DIFFERENT ENDINGS SHEUDJEJND but sorry if it annoys you that it starts here instead of like maybe when Soyun hasn't developed much feelings for Jungkook. Trust me, I'll show how it can actually work because I have plans 😎. But yeah, expect some sadness and angst and drama...? You'll see if you want I guess. Just saying but as you all probably can guess, jjk is the 'main' route because if I were to turn this book into a non-fanfiction version (names changed and all etc), I would use/write his route for the novel, with no alternative endings. Because he's the title aka a vigilante 😭 — but trust me, the other routes aren't gonna be half-assed at all.

As for the chapter length, I'm not sure if a different route's chapter word count would vary much from the other. For now, the first few different versions of chapters will probably almost be like just copy and pastes with some different dialogues and scenes. But later on, the difference in different routes' chapters will start to be bigger, maybe?
