"Jungkook, did you hear what she said? Before you lost your cool a bit?" Hoseok asked.

"Let's just get breakfast and forget this for now." Jungkook chuckled casually and his hyung didn't ask further, walking along the corridor with him although he didn't get an answer.

"So," he said again in a casual tone, "what are you gonna tell them if they ask about the leader?"

"The truths of course, no falsehoods. We never knew that much of him to begin with." Hoseok replied with a tiny shrug as his eyes followed the windows along the hallway, the garden which seemed so lonely and darker now that it was about to rain... "Reminds me of the day we picked you up."

"Pfft. How so though? We literally met outside a funeral home of the schoolmates I killed, not even a garden or a graveyard." he laughed, rubbing his nose.

Hoseok put his arm around Jungkook and just smiled, "But it was raining so there's a connection. And you shouldn't talk about this outside so casually."

"I don't mind the 'consequences' so it's fine for me."

"I'm surprised Soyun never looked into your background or previous schools when she has  the easiest ways to." hummed Hoseok as they walked up the staircase.

"We did cover up most things anyway and that thought probably just went over her head." he chuckled and his eyes darkened, "And the mafia guy irritated the hell out of me."

"Well, what are you gonna do about it? It's not really our problem."

Jungkook didn't comment or response. Hoseok looked down at his phone as they walked along the corridor, reading multiple texts from Jackson but at least there was nothing serious. Although the loudness was questionable considering how they came from different walks of life — in a way, they seem to be getting along, just in a different way.
