13th of May, Monday, in Seoul.
They left early as discussed the other evening, when the skies were still quite dim and the moon was visibly behind the clouds. There was a swarm of media almost greeting their arrival at the NIS's office building when they arrived nonetheless but thanks to the staffs' successful handling of the gates and the parking lot, they got in without much chaos. Even getting off the van though, Soyun, Jungkook and Hoseok could hear shouts after them in the distance. Heechul at the entrance with automatic sliding doors assured them that it'd be fine.
"Is everyone else already here?" Soyun asked as the four of them walked into the elevator.
"Yeah, except for Namjoon." Yoongi replied, "He'll be there though. Seokjin said the guy has been busy with the higher-ups lately."
She didn't notice her own expression changing slightly. Jungkook did.
"And by the way, I'm not one of the 'NIS' colleagues who agreed to let your brother come along." Yoongi said, sounding annoyed, "I personally don't think that we should involve anyone else for their and our safety."
"Honestly, I don't want him more involved than he already is too. As long as I can try to figure out anything, one of us siblings should be enough but just in case..." yet, her tone was apprehensive.
"I recall Lee Minho saying the same thing." Jungkook hummed, his tone calm.
The vigilantes didn't find it surprising that she had acknowledged the strangeness behind it all. Why Haneul seemed to have some more reasons to keep her alive.
They walked out of the elevator and Hoseok pointed out with doe eyes, "By the way Hyung, you're familiar with the place already?"
"Have to be. Don't want NIS agents or the police showing me around." the other guy shrugged. Investigators were shuffling in almost every corner of the building as he led them ahead. They could see a dark aluminum door. "We're here."
