as we pulled into the parking lot of the skating rink, alex said-

"okay we're here, what do you want to get to eat so i can bring it in and we can eat in there?"

he didn't have any clue about my eating disorder, and i want to keep it that way.

"oh um, i don't want anything. thank you though!"

"you didn't eat breakfast, its been 5 hours. you need to eat" he said with a smile.

"i- um" i said holding back tears from fear, "okay, alex"

we talked about what we wanted, well more of what he wanted.

"enough about what i want, what do you want?"

"i don't care. um, whatever you want is fine" i said adding an obviously insincere smile.

"heyy, is something up?" he said with a look of concern drowned on his face.

"i really don't want food alex" i said with tears brewing in my eyes.

"y/n."

"i'm not hungry." as my stomach growls

"you're not hungry?"

"i'm- yeah i'm not"

"you're getting something to eat, just incase"

it was so obvious he knew what was going on, i've never been good at hiding it. only to my mom, she might know, i don't know. she's never talked to me about it.

he walked me inside the skating rink and sat me at a table while he went to go get food. he was gone for about 20 minutes. while he was gone, our friend karl was there with another friend nick,

"hey y/n!!" karl said so very cheerfully

"hii" i got up and gave him a hug, he hugged back. it made my heart smile:)

"hey" nick said

"hey mamas" i said mockingly

"DUDE! i say that ONE time in ninth grade and thats all you say when we see eachother. that- what if i told clay?"

nick lived with clay, personal reasons i guess. but i had a crush on clay in literally eighth grade so, i don't know why he's bringing that up.

"oh come on! an eighth grade crush is something to bring up?"

me and nick kept picking and mocking eachother until karl had broke the "arguement" with;

"well i- ive had the same crush since middle school, beat that" he said while sticking his tongue out.

my phone buzzed with a text from alex:)

alex

hey coming that way, what have you been doing?
