16- The Rest Of The World Was Black And White, But We Were In Screaming Color

-Emerson's POV-

Tour was almost over, and Destiny and I's one year is coming up. I wanted to do something special.

"Emmy, whatcha thinking about?" Remington spoke as we stood backstage at our final show

"Destiny. I wanna do something special for her after tour" I spoke and he smiled

"Disney. She'd love that" He spoke and I smiled

"Thank you" I spoke and we went on that night, full force.

-Destiny's POV-

I never got to go on vacation as a child, so going on one now would be a dream come true.

The boys played their last show tonight in Orlando, Florida, and Emerson has been acting super odd, I just chose to ignore it.

They played their hearts out and Emerson immediately went back to the bus.

I stayed behind to take pictures for the people who wanted them.

After we finished up pictures I pulled Remington aside

"Is everything okay with Emerson? He seems off" I spoke and he smiled

"Don't stress it, he's okay"

We got back to the bus and Emerson met us outside, he kept me outside while the rest of them went in.

"Did I do something wrong?" I spoke, getting nervous.

"Not at all my love, I have a surprise for you, come on" He spoke, kissing the top of my head softly.

I followed him into the bus and he stepped away

"Follow the rose petals" he spoke and I looked down at my feet, the bus was covered in them, but there was a clear path with notes scattered about.

I followed the petals to wear the first note was.

'I know you never got out much as a kid, and I wanna be the one to make those happy memories with. Go to the next note'

I followed the trail and came up to the next little note, but there was also a box

"What's in the box?" I spoke and he smiled

"Read the note first love" He spoke and I did so

'In the time we've been together, we haven't done much, but we'll be celebrating our one year soon, and someone else will be spending their 50 year. In the box is a necklace with your birthstone on it. I love you. Continue onto the next note'

I opened the box and put the necklace on, moving on to the next note which had a familiarly shaped balloon attached to it.

'If you haven't figured it out yet, that's okay. You also may have noticed that the bus has been moving, don't stress. This is supposed to be happy' I smiled, it then dawning on me where we were and I followed the roses to the last note, that was taped to the pillar by my bunk.

'Hello love, when you open your bunk you'll find out where we're going, and I hope you love it.'

I smiled and opened my bunk to find gold mickey ears, and a loungefly to match, along with a box that had our magicbands in it.

"Oh my god, you're kidding?" I spoke and Emerson walked over to the window, I followed him, we were pulling into one of the infamous resorts

"Welcome to the happiest place on earth my love. Our getaway" He spoke and I wrapped my arms around him

"Thank you thank you thank you!" I shouted and he pulled away from me before leaning in and kissing me.

Emerson and I got off the bus, saying goodbye to our family before heading into the hotel.

-Emerson's POV-

We had a perfect view of the castle from our hotel. This was where I'd always wanted a happy ever after.

I was going to make sure that all of Destiny's dreams came true here. Maybe not today, or while we're here right now. But it will happen.
