Friendly reunion

I paused for a moment to smell my jacket and realized it smelled like Damon and dead animal. I felt repulsed, crap I have to wash myself off. I look towards the lake and decided to climb the cliff towards the water fall.

I took off my jacket and jumped into the clear blue water. The water was nice and refreshing I spent a few moments underwater before feeling a pair of arms wrap around me under water.

My chest beats rapidly and it takes me up to the surface, once I breathe deep in air I turned to see who was behind me. I almost didn't recognize him but it was Kol... "You asshole don't do that! what are you doing here!?" I look at him as he laughs amused by my shock

"Come on it was just my way of saying hello, I didn't think you'd go for a swim at this time of day but I thought why not join." He grinned, he was shirtless. He looked at me for a few moments and I stared at his face and his slicked back wet hair.

I open my mouth to speak softly "I'm getting out since I can't have a moment of peace with you here now."

"Well ouch, just thought you could use some company after all I've been helping you these past weeks. You sounded nicer over the phone darling." He smirked gently and splashed me some water

I broke into a small smile "how do I know your not secretly behind my back telling everything to Klaus hm?"

(Why does she insist on bringing up Klaus, I'm tired of her taking about him all the time...he's unimportant) kol thought. He stared at my lips for a second "You wouldn't be here if I did. I don't exactly care what he wants because I like doing things my own way..."

Kol gets closer to my face and looks into my eyes lustfully and I couldn't help but look back into his...my body felt a cold chill as he placed his hand behind my low waist, I had backed away from him and was quick to getting out the river.

"I-I have to get back to Klaus before he finds me suspicious. He's already in a bad mood..." I spoke hiding my red face as I put on my jacket over my wet clothes.

Kol grew a small smirk as my back was turned away, he knew his little tease on me had an effect.

My chest still pounded fast as I see him getting out as well to put his shirt on. I found myself back to the campsite where Klaus and Stefan we're surrounded by the failed experiments

"Where the bloody hell did you go off to, Alex?" Klaus questioned as he looked at my drenched clothing "And you're drenched in water?"
