We bust in through the door and by we I mean Damon, he wasn't playing around. It was fun seeing him serious. All three of us searched everywhere, no one was around. "Isobel still has her luggage here, and I even found Elena's spare clothes that were stolen by Katherine." Stefan spoke

Damon huffs in anger "I haven't been in contact with Alaric, he's dead or drunk?..."

"I don't think they were here last, only presence around are Katherine's and a witch...." I said "It doesn't makes sense. Katherine helping Klaus, he would kill her instantly, which could mean...."

Damon finished my sentence "she got Elena and the moonstone as a bargaining chip for her selfish freedom of that asshole."

Stefan picked up his ringing phone, his face was relieved, he told us Elena's fine they let her go....

Damon calmed down and they both went back home but I thought that was a suspicious thing of him to do. Why let her go, Klaus?....why let's your precious doppelgänger go, unless you feel like playing a little game.....

Meanwhile at Alaric's apartment

The spell was working, the body switch was almost done, Alaric was unconscious on the wooden chair

A gasp awoke from away, Katherine began to wake up, she was confused and dizzy, memories spurred as she remembered her neck being snapped

She turned her attention to the witch standing in beside her and Alaric's sleeping state then weakly she pushed herself up, and saw Alaric awaken as the witch stopped his chanting.

Katherine was still as she saw him walk steps closer to her, "Alaric?" She asked out curiously

He didn't answer her back, he had a small smug face. Something was odd she noticed and ran for the door but she couldn't leave....there was a magic border around the apartment. Alaric stood behind her, Katherine was feeling more nervous and anxious. He looked down to her with a smile "Zdravei, Katerina...hm. I have missed you."

Her body was frozen and her eyes were frighten "Klaus..."

I walk in the living room with Stefan and Elena talking.

They glance at me "Did I interrupt something?". Elena stood up and ignored me, Stefan pulled his glance away from her to me

"Why would he let you go?" Stefan asked Elena but it was an open question

"It clear anything John told Isobel Klaus knows, right?" Elena said, Stefan nodded "so he knows I won't turn."

"And that you have us keeping you safe, apart from Alex." Stefan fills in...

"He knows you won't run like Katherine did." I say staring at them both.

Damon walks in with papers in his hand "Which is why we need to take precautions, cause we got played and surprisingly not by you."

He looks at me and I narrowed my eyes "have you heard of careful what you wish for?"

He pushed my response away and handed Elena the packet of paperwork in his hand "What's this?" She asked him
