Isis POV
The feeling of having the sun warming my back and the strong winds twirling through my hair was amazing, it was the feeling of freedom and choice.
I never wanted this feeling to go away, I could just keep riding my motorbike for miles without stopping for breaks or getting bored, I couldn't put my finger on it but something in the air was different... Something about the winds course and the thickness of it.At one point or another I was going to have to come out my peaceful place of mind, my throat felt really dry and croaky....what was happening? oh yes I thought, now that I'm in human form I'm having the same urges...such as thirst and hunger, I could tell for the future these new habits were going to be a pain in the ass.
As I was riding through a quiet little town, I noticed this was no ordinary town, it looked like one of the posh residents I had been watching for some time while I was a star (because most of the people there would be wishing on me and other stars for more luck or money) the houses weren't any ordinary buildings, they had to be perfect in the owners eyes and everyone is still competing for the most classy home, typical rich humans...the gardens looked fake because the flower beds were so perfectly aligned and the stereotypical white picket fences lined up next to the fancy brick work.
After thinking about much criticism for the residents I managed to spot a small coffee shop on the corner of the street, it was quite cute, the stripy curtains draped on the inside of the windows with big white bows tying them in place and the metal chairs with silver looking like material wrapping round all four legs.
Putting the bike on its stand, I rest my helmet on the handle bars and make sure the bike is in view of the coffee shop window, this may be a posh joint but from what I saw while in the sky, I learnt not to be deceived by the looks of any human, the sweetest little girl who said good morning with a smile could easily be a pick pocket.
As I open the wooden, pink door, a little bell rings above my head signalling a waitress to come and serve me.
"Table for one?" She asks sweetly in her frilly uniform apron.
"Yes" I said with a smile."Enjoy, here's the menu"
"Thanks" I replied bluntly.
There was only so much sweetness I could take, people who have to act all innocent and fake a smile for their job, it's just sad.I ordered a large cup of coffee and sat patiently, playing with little sparks on my fingertips just for amusement, then a girl suddenly walked in looking like she'd just been for a ten mile run, apart from the sweat sticking to her chocolate hair and the smell of sea salt assaulting my nose, I would say she was pretty damn beautiful, who knew someone could challenge my looks...but she could, the way her eyes shined in a deep blue colour, her hair long but delicate as the waves in it hung on her shoulders Down to her waist.
"Here's your coffee miss" the woman said politely.
"Thank You, keep the tip" I said handing her some money.
How lucky was it that the dude I stole the bike from had a stack of cash in the back container?! There was lots of things in there, money, cigarettes, clothes ect. He must of been going on a long journey.
I reach out to the mug to take a sip but just as my fingertips touch the mug...."OWWW FUCK!!" I yelped as the mug scorched my hand.
I knew I had a funny feeling but I couldn't figure out what it was, something's off...I'd better get outside before my fire decides to explode, it is the most weirdest feeling I've had, it's like my fire has no control and just trying not to let it explode is making me start to sweat badly, I leave the shop to go stand next to my bike on the pavement, I feel a little more in control but better take a breather for five minutes before going back in, for all I know I could burn the place down without any intention of doing it.
