Life on Berk has gotten slightly more interesting since Andra got here. We have added a new rule to dragon races, she is now one of the teachers at the training academy, we have nearly completed the book of dragons, and her and Mildew got in a fight about six years ago when he was helping the outcasts. It would be best not to describe the fight but to say that Mildew ended up with a few less fingers. At first, the island didn't trust her but she has helped the island in many ways as well. She actually knows the recipe for gronkle iron, she tried to teach Snotlout how to make food, it ended up on his head, she is the translator from dragon to English, and she saved the village from an outbreak of eel pox. Apparently she can't catch dragon diseases or human diseases. But she vulnerable to dragon and human diseases if the effect the species in the same way. I am proud to call her my cousin.

I woke up to Toothless' head on my stomach. I managed to push him off and got up. I went downstairs as Andra crashed through the door. She started to hunch over and arch her back. It seemed like something was hurting her back. "Aaahhhh. It hurts!" She screamed. Mouthful and Toothless pushed her onto the seat as I got mom. Mom came in.

"I heard screaming. Is everything okay? Do I need to get Percy from the camp?" Percy and Annabeth went back through the portal and Nico stayed back.

"No, her back is hurting. She keeps hunching over and arching her back. Is she going to be alright?" Mom went over and touched Andra's back. She screamed again. Mom's eyes went wide.

"It's happening today."

"What?! What's happening today?!"

"She is going to grow wings. When she was sick a week ago, it was because she was growing wings. Andra has eaten lots of dragon food so she has dragon features as well as human, for example, her eyes. Now she is going to grow wings." I stared at her. The village could barely handle her dragon eyes, never mind wings. I guess they'll have to.

We had finally gotten Andra to calm down when Astrid came throughout the door. "Berserkers ship has been spotted coming here. They seem ready to fight." Andra got up.

"I'm going to fight back. I am the one they want."

"No Andra, you're already in pain as it is." Mom argued back.

"Yes but they have lots of dragons and I am the only one that knows how to fight most of them and counteract their attacks." Andra did have a point. She was the only one that could fight them. But we couldn't let her fight.

"She does have a point." I heard Astrid say behind me. Mom sighed giving up.

"Fine, but you have to be near the back of defence." Andra sighed.

"Fine. Give me some throwing knives."

We were in battle gear. I was in the front lines with Toothless, Astrid and Snotlout and their dragons. The twins and Eret and their dragons were in the trappers. Fishlegs was with the archers and Meatlug. Nico was guarding Andra with Mouthful, Laughter, Jet, Sparky, Multi, Skelia and the rest of the village used the other dragons.. The berserkers fired and the war started. I had taken down several berserkers and Toothless sunk the ships. Dagur had found another skrill and many other dragons. I heard a noise.

A skrill and then Andra screaming. Andra landed and hunched over. The skrill wanted to challenge the alpha and Toothless accepted. He landed and I made adjustments to his saddle so he could fly without me. "Are you sure you want to do this bud? If you need help, ask." He growled and I gave him a giant hug. Mouthful came over and gave him a lick. His tail started to grow back and in ten seconds, he had a new tail. It was a navy blue tail with swirl patterns. He returned Mouthful's lick and flew off with Mouthful by his side.

I turned away and ran towards Andra. I watched as Dagur pushed Nico down the hill and knocked out the other dragons. Dagur put his knife against her throat. "It's either, she comes with me or she dies. Your choice." I looked at Andra and she winked. She pretended to go limp and elbowed Dagur in the stomach. She immediately hunched over as I knocked Dagur unconscious. I saw two things come out of the back of her dress and started growing. The were changing colours. I realised that these were her wings. They kept growing until they were at the same ratio as Toothless' wings. They stopped growing then. She straightened back up she looked over to the alpha war. Her wings turned pitch black.

"Are these my new wings? Nice." She sprinted down to the edge of the cliff and jumped. I called Toothless down to get me back up there. He came down. I pointed down to the ocean and was nearly hit by Andra. She went back up to join Mouthful in the fight. We flew up after them.

"What's the plan?" I yelled out to her.

"One, help the night furies beat this skrill. Two, figure out how to land."

"Could you maybe change your wings?" She tried this and they reached Meatlug's wingspan. She flew closer and was shocked with lightning. She seemed to absorb it and create plasma. She shot it back at the skrill. The skrill shot at Mouthful and hit her. Mouthful started to fall.

"Mouthful!" Andra screamed. She dived down at the same time I did. I jumped off Toothless and onto Mouthful. I turned her so her belly was facing downwards and she flew again. Andra was back up, fighting with Toothless. She now had speedstinger wings and was on Toothless' back. They both let out a final blast and the skrill was almost down, but it was still flying. I saw something forming on Toothless' tail and he swished his tail upwards. A ball of plasma came off it. It shot the skrill down. "You may still join us, but I believe we will have to make you a new tail." She whispered to the skrill. It said something back she nodded. She flew up the top of the cliff in record speed and grabbed Toothless' saddle. She made a new design and ripped the fabric perfectly. She put the saddle on the skrill and they flew up. We followed with Mouthful trailing behind.

We got back up and saw her battling with Dagur. She got him on the ground and he was battling from that position. "Why would you try and hurt the dragons. What did they do to you?" She nearly yelled at him. He didn't answer. Instead he got back up and ran. The entire berserker army retreated, leaving us. The dragons stayed. When the ships were out of sight, I saw her talking to Nico. "Now I know I am half dragon, and you probably don't want to hang around with me, but you must know that my heart will always belong to you." She turned to leave but was pulled back by Nico. He kissed her and she stood there shocked. She finally kissed him back.

"I know you are half dragon but that is another thing to add to the list of why I love you." They hugged. I turned around and was met by Astrid.

"Hey Astrid." She punched me.

"That was for leaving in the middle of the fight and scaring all of us half to death." She gave me a hug. "That is for standing up for your family." She then kissed me. "And that is for everything else."

"Like I said, I could get used to that. I just haven't yet." We laughed.
