It was finally time for our wedding. George and I were getting ready in separate rooms.

My friends, make-up artists, hairdressers, and seamstresses were helping me with the finishing touches. I had never been so nervous in my whole life. My wedding dress was simple yet beautiful, very typical of 1966. My hair followed the trendy half up half down beehive that let my long, dark, gold locks fall on my back.

"George will drool when he sees you!" Marianne exclaimed. I smiled shyly, looked down at my hands and noticed they were shaking non-stop. Mary Quant, who helped me design the dress, caressed my hands in attempt to stop the shaking, "don't worry, everything will be alright,"

Someone knocked on the door. "Hurry make sure, it isn't George or it will be bad luck!" My sister told my other sister.

She slightly opened the door and peeked through and suddenly many people came in at once. Brigitte Bardot, Catherine Deneuve, Jane Birkin and Twiggy walked in. They were very close friends of mine. Twiggy and Catherine felt like my non-related sisters, Brigitte and I were filming together and became very close, and Jane and I hung out every once in a while and had lots of fun together.

"You look Gorgeous Alice!" Twiggy had her mouth wide open and her eyes grew big.

"Alice, tu es si jolie!" Catherine added. " Tu es très belle!" Brigitte took me by the hand.  "Oh gosh, guys, I'm so happy you were able to come!" I knew they were very busy and their presence meant the world to me.

George's mother, Louise, came in and began to cry, "George is a lucky guy!" I tried not to get emotional by seeing her, and gave her a hug. "I'm the lucky one!" I responded.

"Well, I came here to tell you that it is time, your dad is waiting for you at the entrance, and you girls better go back to the venue with the rest of the guests!" Louise made sure we were where we were supposed to be.

She handed me a big bouquet filled with white flowers, which included Lillies, my favorite. I thanked her and walked towards the entrance. He looked quite comfortable and just excited to walk me down the aisle. He and I locked arms, I took a deep breath, the music began to play and we started to slowly walk down the aisle. Everyone was staring at me and I felt a bit of anxiety. When I found Keith there, winking at me, the anxiety left my body and I suddenly felt more relaxed. I felt pretty guilty seeing him there honestly, I don't know why. I turned my gaze towards the altar, where George stood looking like the most handsome human being I had seen in my entire life. He looked quite nervous as well, yet he couldn't help but smile at the sight of me.

Next to him was a very good friend of ours, Brian Epstein, who was going to marry us. He didn't seem nervous at all, but he did look at me as a proud father. When I got to the end, I gave my father two kisses and stood next to my future husband. I sneakily held his hand and his thumb proceeded to caress it, to calm me down.

"Ladies and Gentleman we are gathered here to see two of my most successful products and cash cows unite in holy matrimony!" Brian began, making everyone laugh and ease the ambiance. This is exactly when I knew George and I made the right decision to chose him to marry us. After a couple of humorous, but magnificent sentences carefully pronounced by Brian, it was our turn to say our vows.

I had to start and I my heart was up my throat, I tried to gulp down my nervousness and said,

"Before I start, you'll have to excuse my shaking. I can't handle it, but marrying the man that is in front of me, makes me too nervous," Everyone giggled, George gave me a sweet look of appreciation and I took another deep breath.

"I, Alice, take you George, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward till death do us part. I promise to learn how to roll up the garden hose and let you get less haircuts from now on," The guests responded with "aawwws" and laughter. "I will love you forever!" I began to tear up. George tried to hold still, but hugged me tightly. I took the ring from Brian, held George's hand and slid the golden ring into his finger.

"I, George, take you Alice, to be my beautiful wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward till death do us part. I promise to let you cut my hair as often as you'd like! I will love you infinitely!" I could tell he was getting emotional, and he wiped a tear away from his face, but kept his fangy smile. He took the marvelous ring and slid into my shaking finger carefully.

A few "I do's" passed by and before we knew it Brian announced, "You may kiss the bride!"

George took the veil out of my face and kissed the heck out of me. He even picked me up bridal style and continued. "So this is what euphoria feels like," I thought to myself. Everyone cheered and threw rice at us as we ran together while holding hands, down the aisle and towards the exit of the venue. An old-fashioned luxurious car, decorated with more fantastic flowers and ribbons, with a sign that read, "Just married" in the back of the trunk, was waiting for us. George opened the door for me and quickly got into his seat. As soon as he started the engine, we looked at each other in disbelief and kissed. Then we turned around and waved goodbye to our guests, who we were going to see afterwards anyways at the dinner party. Then we drove off, as the sun set, with my head resting on my husbands shoulder and my heart racing faster than Usain Bolt's legs.
