a/n: I know this is super late, but thank you for all your support after so many years. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do to wrap this book up, but I'm so grateful for all of you 🖤

THE PARTY: EPILOGUE
Having a child changed everything - most people would argue that your life is never the same again, but five years following the new addition to my life with Kendall, life as a family was only better. It was our son's fifth birthday, and we had a party to somehow throw together. Our little boy had grown to be quite the charmer - realistically no surprise, given his genes. With his shaggy brown hair and warm brown eyes, Elio was definitely the cutest member of our little family. He was currently out with his best friend - his Uncle Zayn, who had reserved our son's morning to spend it with him, feeding the ducks, in Central Park.

"Kendall, we can't," I laughed as my wife trailed kisses along my jawline. I struggled to suppress the desire building within me, as the model grazed against my core with her thigh. "Kenny," I sighed, feeling my resolve fade away as her fingertips ghosted against my skin.

"Yes, baby?" She smiled playfully, flicking her hair to one side so she could see me better. I sighed, knowing I could never say no to the brunette. That didn't mean I couldn't mess with her; I caught Kendall off guard as I pulled her in for a kiss, rolling us over so that I was on top.

Straddling her waist, I pinned her wrists above her head, forcing my wife to behave, or so I thought. The soft moan that escaped Kendall's lips proved she had other plans.

"Elio should be back by 11," I reminded her, dropping her wrists with a smile.

Effortlessly pushing herself off the bed, Kendall met me in a swift sit-up type manoeuvre, quickly glancing at the digits flashing on our bedside clock. 09:28.

"Ninety-two whole minutes," she breathed, our lips just millimeters apart. Seconds later, that distance was non existent.

"I love you," Kendall confessed softly, staring at our reflection in the mirror. Our hair was still dripping from the shower, with nothing but a towel wrapped around the two of us.

We'd been together for countless years, married for several, yet Kendall's frequent declarations of love still made my heart skip like she had in our teenage years.

"I love you too," I replied, resting my chin on her shoulder. My arms were wrapped securely around my wife, watching carefully as a range of emotions played across her face.

"Am I getting old?" The model frowned, mumbling about how she'd soon be turning 30 - soon being several years away. I stared at Kendall incredulously, our eyes meeting in the mirror.

Spinning her around so that she was facing me, I looked directly at Kendall, so that she had no opportunity to doubt the complete sincerity to my words.

"No." I replied bluntly, making the model giggle as I answered with the severity that only a legal case in court, could ever really require. "If anything," I continued more playfully, "you're just heading towards prime milf years."

Kendall laughed loudly, slapping my forearm unexpectedly and making me accidentally drop the towel. The brunette's gaze trailed down my body unapologetically, grinning cheekily as I called her out.

Our doorbell rang as I finally began slipping into some clothes, much to Kendall's dismay. Zayn had a key, but was thoughtful enough to give us time to collect ourselves - knowing how precious alone time becomes, when you become parents. My wife pouted as I pulled on a t-shirt, complaining about the sudden lack of exposed skin. I kissed her sweetly, feeling her smile against my lips.
