Chapter 6 "It was a...... Dream?!"

Hailey's P.O.V
I woke up in a cold sweat. What was that?! How long was she asleep and ... WHERE IN THE WORLD WAS SHE?! She asked herself just realizing her surroundings. She was in a hospital bed. There was a tube connecting to a bag full of blood. (I forgot what it's called) There was a nurse in the room writing something down.
"H-Hello?"Hailey asked.
"Hailey Austin you're awake. How are you feeling?" The nurse asked.
"Um, I don't remember anything I just remember having a sleepover with some friends."
"Ok... Well you're in the hospital because you passed out some how. I'm Kailyn you're nurse. Press that red button if you need anything. Dr. Di Angelo will be coming soon." (See what i did there Will solace took Nico Di angelo's last name)
"Last question sorry, How long was I out?"
"... I don't know how to say this but you've been in a coma for 2 weeks now."
"Good I didn't miss the band competition. Has anyone visited me? Could you please let them know I'm awake and let them see me? It's my friends Jake, Millicent, Alexander, Luke, And Sean?"
"Of course. I'll let them know right away." She said with a smile.
"Thanks." And with that Kailyn left my room.
I was pretty bored waiting for them and I had to eat the disgusting hospital food.
"Hailey?" I heard a female voice ask.
"Yes?" I replied.
Then I heard sobbing and Milly ran into my room.
"You're alive!"
"Of course I am! I would never leave you without saying goodbye!"
"The doctor," She took in a breath. "Didn't know how long you would be in a coma."
I just realized her red puffy eyes from crying.
"It's ok I'm here now." I told her gently "How is Zander?"
Her face darkened.
"He took it the worst. He won't eat, sleep, or go to school. Luke tried to help him but it  barely worked he only ate a little and fell asleep from sleep deprivation and crying.  Luke's driving him here right now."
"Poor Zander! I'm so sorry this happened! I'm really worried about him."
"Yeah. And Sean thinks it was his fault. Even though it happened because me and Jake were fighting over something stupid. Then the lamp fell over hit you in the head and now you're here. So it's me and Jake's fault."
"That's what happened? Really? Weird. Wait how is Jake taking all this?"
"Well... He may have..." She kept trailing off like something horrible happened.
"What. Did. He. Do?!"  I shouted.
"He went back to Drew and their gang. He was so depressed something happened to you. We stopped band practice and he would ignore us."
"THAT JERK!! I thought he cared about us." I said starting to cry out of anger.
"I know-" She was interrupted by Sean.
"Hailey! Thank goodness!!!"
"Hi Sean, It's not you're fault." I said.
"But-"
"No but's."
Then Luke and Zander walked in. Actually Zander ran in and Luke walked in.
"HAILEY!!!!! Thank goodness! That jerk will pay for doing this to you! I hate him."
"Hey!" Milly shouted.
"I'm talking about Jake."
"Ohhhh."
"I'm ok Zander. Please eat something and sleep. I don't want you dying on me."
"Fine."
"Hailey Austin?" The doctor walked in. Di Angelo was it?
"Right here." I said from my bed. My friends let him through.
"You seem good. My husband Nico, says you're not um close to death."
"How does he know?" Zander asked.
"Well it's a secret. Sorry."
He took some tests on me.
"Yeah your good. Though you'll have to stay here for a few more days."
"Yes Doctor."
Then he left.
Jake's P.O.V the day Hailey woke up

"Hailey! You've got to try this app!" Milly said.
I turned to look at Milly and Hailey. But Hailey wasn't there. It was only Milly. I sighed and frowned. 'I'm going crazy. Hailey's not here! She won't be coming back... You probably killed her!' I sobbed. I bumped into someone and fell on my butt.
"Jake?" Drew asked sour.
"Yes." I replied back snapping at him.
"Where's your music girlfriend been?"
"... In a coma. Hailey's in a coma." I said fighting back tears.
It was clearly all my fault. I was the one fighting with Milly over my lyric book. I was the one who knocked over the lamp that made Hailey pass out. It is all my fault.
I looked back at Drew remembering he was there. He had a shocked expression.
"Oh. Well that's great you can come back to our group." When he said 'oh' I heard a little sadness? In his voice.
"Ok." I said.
Then I heard the announcements go on.
"Millicent,Alexander,Luke, Sean, and Jake  please come to my office." The principal said.
"Well I have to go I guess." I tried for a smile.
I ran to the office. Was Hailey awake? Could she possibly be alive? Why the five of us? Especially why me?
I finally got there.
"Yes sir?" I asked walking in the last one of us.
"Hailey's awake." He said simply.
"Really? Are you sure it's not a false alarm again?" I asked.
"I'm sure. The hospital said she woke up and requested you five come see her. So you five have the rest of the day off to go see her."
"HAILEY!!!!!" Zander said crying.
They all ran out to come to her. But I stayed so I could talk with the principal.
"Can I leave, but not see her? I'm not sure I should see her yet."
"Of course." He said smiling, knowing about the Depression this brought me.
So I ran home and thought about you guessed it, Hailey.
                      ~the next day~
Hailey's P.O.V
It was time to face Jake. The hospital let me leave because they took tests and I was apparently a lot better.
"Jake."
"Hailey."
What will happen next?! What will they say?! Will there be a confession?! Are they going to kiss?! Find out here tomorrow Wednesday February 24th. Word count is 1015.
