Chapter IV
I woke up the next day with so much energy surging inside me. I want to learn other colors magic. I rushed to the Infinite Consortium. There Tezzeret lead me outside to the normal world. We got to his car and he drove.
“Tezzeret, who’s going to teach me?” I asked.
“He’s just a normal black mage who has no idea that we’re blue mages” He answered.
“Don’t mages see the color auras of another mage? How can he not know you’re a blue mage?” I asked curiously.
“I learned an ancient spell that can alter your color aura and change it to a color of your choice” He answered.
“We have arrived” Tezzeret said.
I got out of the car and the place where we are is an isolated forest that has swamps that surrounds that back part of it. We went out of the car and walked through the muddy forest. Suddenly, after passing two adjacent trees, a big mansion appeared out of nowhere. There a man greeted us.
“My name is Sorin Markov. Welcome to my home. It is my duty to teach young black mages for the black plane.” Sorin said.
He really does think we’re black mages.
“Let’s go inside” Sorin said.
We went inside and there we saw eight different black mages.
“You think we don’t know the truth?” Sorin said. “Hahahaha, you people sure are confident of your magic.” a black mage said.
“You think you’re the only ones who have telepathic powers?” another black mage said.
I tried reading their minds to know what they think and have an upper hand but there’s something interfering with me. They are being protected. By another telepath.
“Give me the amulet, kid” Sorin said.
Damn, this is a trap. They knew we have an amulet. Sorin stretched out his hand. A black sphere appeared on his hand. He threw it at me. Tezzeret created a wall of ice in front of us, protecting us from the sphere.
“Run!” He said.
We ran out of the house and into our car. Tezzeret was exhausted. But the black mages were coming.
“We can’t get out of this mess just by driving away. They would eventually catch up to us. Go inside the car now!” Tezzeret screamed.
“Lock the car! I’ll use my magic to cast a spell to the car and it will drive you home at a fast speed!” Tezzeret said.
“What about you!?” I asked.
“I’ll hold them off!” Tezzeret said.
“I’ll fight here with you!” I screamed.
“No! The amulet should not fall into their hands! Go now!” he said.
Tezzeret casted the spell and locked the car. I couldn’t get out of it and I was just sitting there looking at Tezzeret getting farther and farther away. I tried to force the car and was using all spells I know and ram it into it but the spell he casted kept the car undented. I saw him using his ice magic and creating a big ice wall. But the black mages destroyed it easily. Black spikes came out of the ground and Tezzeret jumped. He froze the spikes and created a flat surface in it. He kept battling the black mages and the end was horrifying. I saw him get stabbed in the back but I couldn’t see it clearly because he was already so far away. Then the car crashed. I fell unconscious and last thing I saw before blacking out was someone with a blue colored aura taking the amulet I’m wearing. Then I blacked out.
