 "As would I"

    ******Three weeks later******
Kevin-Weeks had gone by since Prof Kristean, Mr. Justin and that lady Jackie had gone and till now there has not been any news from them
Matt-"Hey dude what's up with you ?" Matt asked looking at me, he must have asked me something but I spaced out again.
Kevin-"Huh, oh sorry I uhm.... I didn't get you"
Emma-"They will be fine, don't worry"
Emma said. I just hope so "They will be fine" Finn reassured
"Can't you find them ?" Kat asked
"I can't if Finn isn't awoken" I said trying to explain
"But you said Professor Kristean casted a spell" Emma said
"Yeah he did, but I don't think I can do it" I said feeling unsure
Don't tell me the training I've been giving you these weeks have been for nothing Finn asked in disbelief
Fine I will try then
I closed my eyes and concentrated trying to think of Professor Kristean and then I saw Finn place his hands on my shoulders and immediately I felt a surge of energy and with a jolt I opened my eyes and my vision got blurry like I was running with superhuman speed and from my side I heard a "woah" and I knew my hair was becoming white already and then I saw a huge gate with a colorful sigil on it, it looked like a school almost like ours but it wasn't as big as ours, I forced myself to concentrate more and then again my vision blurred and when it became clear I saw a door with "Dean Frederick" written on it and when I entered i saw a man in his late thirties who looked like the lady Jackie and opposite him was the lady herself and Professor Kristean, both were seated while Justin was on his feet beside Professor Kristean, immediately I set my eyes on him he turned and looked at my direction, his eyes were roaming like he was looking for something and then he stopped and looked at my face and then he smiled and gave me a slight nod and turned to say something in Professor Kristean's ear and after he was through I heard Professor Kristean's voice in my head
"Hello there Kevin, I see you've been busy with Finn"
"Yeah, he has been teaching me some stuffs since you left"
"Worry not yourself, we will be back shortly"
"Ok" I replied and was about to leave but then I remembered "how's it going ?" I asked
"He's getting his things prepared for the trip back home" Ohkay, now I was reassured that everything was going to be fine. I closed my eyes again planning on coming back to the school and it didn't take as long as it did when I left, when I opened my eyes I saw the three of them looking at me with worry and anxiety etched on their faces and I noticed we weren't outside anymore but in the student lounge , I guess they moved me to here when I took too long and when I looked up to look around I saw a figure at the door, one I could never forget, Beatrice. But when she noticed she got caught by me she ran off and I couldn't help but sigh, turning back to my friends I told them all I saw and they relaxed.
"I've got to get to class" Matt said, "yeah me too" Kat chirped in
"I suppose you also have to get to class" I asked Emma, "yeah", "Well let me walk you to class" I offered and she accepted. After we left the lounge, we walked for some distance before parting, when Emma and I were alone I decided to ask her about Beatrice.
"Hey, uhm Emma" I started
"Yes?"
"You talk with Beatrice right"
"Uhm yeah, what's wrong"
"No... Nothing much, did she mention me or say anything about me" I asked
"Uhm, now that I think about it, when ever I suggest she hangs out with us she always agrees but when I mention your name or you being around, she rejects and makes up an excuse. Now that I think of it, do you know her from somewhere or something? " she asked looking suspiciously at me
"Uhm yeah, we knew each other once"
"Has it been long you guys met or you parted on bad terms? "
"Yeah, something like that"
"Oh, I could help you relays message to her if you want" She offered
"Well uhm, can you help me arrange a meeting with her ?" I asked with a pout and a pleading eye
"Uhm, I suppose, yeah I can but you'll owe me one"
"Yeah, thanks how about tonight ?" I asked feeling giddy already
"Yeah, fine meet my at the back of the witches block tonight" She instructed and left for her class
"Yes" I shouted and jumped up a few times before I decided to go to the field and watch the shifters
After doing some yoga exercise and meditating with the shifters I left to the library and decided to find a secluded area with hopes of learning a thing or two about Finn and his powers, I closed my eyes and concentrated on trying to go to the past with the face of the dean in my mind, I tried for a few times but I think it's safe to say I failed all those times, getting frustrated I was about to get up to go to the dean's office and then I heard Finn chuckle in my head which irritated me "what's funny to you ?" I asked in annoyance
"Well you trying to see past over 500 years without my powers fully awakening in you, just because you saw Jason doesn't mean you can do that just yet, it's a miracle you didn't faint after seeing Jason"
"Well why didn't you say so before ?"
"It's not all the things I'm going to tell you, use your head a little. But above all know this, even after you've learnt everything you need to learn if you haven't learnt patience all that which you have learnt will amount to nothing"
Hmmm, well I better get going, I after all have to meet with Emma tonight. I stood up to leave and tried to get there as fast as I could.
"Wanna learn a trick ?" I heard Finn's voice in my head
"Yeah, I suppose"
A few minutes later I heard Emma's voice and decided to put the new trick I learnt into practice, when I was done I saw Bea emerging with Emma who was listening to what she saying then I decided to remove the invisible veil Finn taught me to put up, the only problem was I did it when they had gotten too close to me so I appeared right in front of them which earned me a shriek.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to" I instantly apologized
"The heck, Kevin you scared me, now I have to go clean up" Emma said and gave me a wink at the last part of her act
"Let me come with you" Bea offered her
"Oh no need I'll be just fine, besides Kevin here has something to say" she said walking away.
"Are you avoiding me ?" I asked immediately she left
"Not really".
"Hmmm...... really ?"
"No okay ? Urgh fine, yes I am, I didn't know I would meet you here"
"What do you mean by that, you didn't even know you were coming here" I said trying to decipher what she was saying
"Well, why did you think I decided to break up with you. I didn't want you to see me as a freak after telling you" Wait what?¿? I am shocked, confused and in disbelief right now
"What did you just say" I asked to be sure I heard correctly
"I said I knew already before you left and I thought there won't be a need to break-up since we wont see each other but then you said you were moving to the exact place I was moving I decided to let you go , I didn't expect to meet you here already settled in and from what I hear you're a special student, the Dean's favourite they say"
"...............Woah, I'm shocked........... I thought you were mad at me for moving"
"I didn't know how to approach you after cutting the relationship and I didn't mean to make you feel that way........ How about we start over"
I am shocked, excited, confused, reliefed........ And mad, yeah I was mad but I didn't know who or what I was mad at.
"You're joking right ?" I asked in disbelief
"I know it's not in my place to ask but..."
"Fine, I suppose we can" I cut her off before she could finish
"You're mad, right?"
"No, I'm not"
"Ohkay, how about we skip the introduction part and just catch up"
"Yeah I suppose, how about we do that tomorrow I need to retire for the night"
"Again I'm sorry" Before she finished I raised another invisible veil and watched her leave with a sad expression. I really should get to bed now.
