Chapter 13

"Uhm, when is the ceremony going to hold ?"
"Next two days" the Dean said
"The earlier the better I believe" the professor added.
"Next two days‽‽‽ That's too soon, I'm not ready for that"
"Uhm, not ready for what exactly ?" Kristean asked
"Well, I don't know. I need time"
"For what exactly ?" Justin asked
"Your clothes are ready, the venue will be ready by tomorrow, you don't need to do anything but show up"
"And plaster a big smile on your face" The Dean piped in
I suppose, I hope I can be ready for the "introduction" by that time. I head back to my room

       ******Introduction day******

  Ugh why do I have to be a part of this thing, I was having a peaceful sleep before they decided to be my psychic alarm.
I get down from bed and freshen up, the Dean said to come to his office once I'm up and so that's what I do. When I get into his office he leads me to another wing of the school, apparently this wing is for all the professors and the Dean. I always wondered where he slept, maybe in his office who knows.
We get into his flat as he would call it but I will say it's a mansion but I don't know why he would want it positioned at the centre of the whole wing, meh that's his business not mine.
"Why am I here ?" I ask as we step in
"Do you want to attend your introduction dressed like that ?"
I looked down at myself and realize that I'm dressed in just pants and a vest, I guess not. And so I follow him in and he leads me to a room and asks me to get dressed. I step in and he closes it from behind, I look around the room and notice it's probably his guest room, but then why would he need a guest room, and then I see it hanging in mid air. The suit is black and has golden buttons and designs, it had on it's chest in gold the embroidery of an eye, It looked extremely perfect. I was about to put it on when five people came in with masks on and asked me to sit, I wanted to refuse but then I heard professor Kristean voice in my head telling me they're here for me and then I complied and sat down, I was instructed to close my eyes and I did that also.
I didn't know how long they took on my face and my hair but when I opened my eyes I couldn't recognize the person in the mirror, my eye bags were concealed perfectly, my disheveled hair was perfectly sleek. Immediately I was done admiring myself one of them sprayed my face with something from a bottle and my hair with another thing that I do not know of, when they were done they left and I was left alone to admire my self. It didn't take for before the professor voice came again asking me to get dressed. I almost forgot about  that and so I hurriedly got into the dress and I stepped out and began to look for the professor. It didn't take as long as I expected cause I found him and his brothers waiting for me at the top of a staircase, I didn't know this building had stairs, they were all dressed in different colors of suits, the professor was dressed in a scarlet red suit with green designs and buttons with a wolf standing on it's hind legs on his chest, the Dean was dressed in white with light blue designs and buttons and a phoenix on his chest, Justin was dressed in black with purple designs and buttons with the ying-yang design on his chest.
We walked down the stairs and came to a long underground tunnel, after walking for some time I started to hear a woman's voice but I didn't hear what she was saying. The Dean asked us to stay here and when I looked around it looked like a lounge and they walked up the stairs and I could hear the applaud and then they began to say something, by then my hand had began to sweat, I stole a glance at Justin so see him leaning on the wall peacefully and then he opened his eyes and walked me, and then he took my hands in his and looked me in the eyes and said to me.
"You're Kevin Montgomery and I know you'll be fine"
I couldn't help but smile and nod my head, and a new wave of confidence washed over me
"Now let's go out there and show them that smile"
And then that's when I heard our names being called, and we both walk out and my eyes immediately darted to the Dean and the professor and I notice they are putting on long white coats with hoods. From them, my eyes moved to a woman who looked very familiar but I couldn't recognize her and then it clicked, I saw her in one of my previous memories.
"Grandma ?" I asked confused
"Yeah, that's our grandma" Justin said
We walked to the front of the audience and stood in front of her. And then she started asking Justin some questions which he answered and when she was done she placed one of the coats the Dean was wearing on him and then she faced me and started asking me and I answered according to my best abilities hoping they were the right answers, and then she asked
"Do you accept the role of being a Viskar brother ?"
"Yes I do" I replied
And then the coat was placed on my shoulder.
And then the three brothers stood by my side and she came again with a small bowl and a small knife and asked the Dean to put his blood inside which he did and then Justin and now it was my turn, I took the knife with shaking hands and slit my palm like the rest had done and placed it over the bowl and immediately it dropped I felt a surge of energy, similar to the one I felt in serenity but a bit stronger and then I felt the air become a bit chill and looked at the Dean and I saw his ice wings and his eyes were a light shade of blue and then I saw Justin floating and his eyes were purple, I guess my hair and eyes are white and then when the professor blood dropped the surge was stronger and I heard gasps and applauds from the audience and when I looked at the Dean he was already flying a little bit above the ground and where he once stood was now covered in ice and snow frost started to fall and when I looked at Justin he was still floating and then whole building was covered in beautiful exotic flowers and then I decided to give them a little show and then I remembered the field from our hometown and I imagined that lush beautiful field right here and when I opened my eyes it was like how I imagined and then the professor closed his eyes and hummed a tune under his breath and in an instant different exotic birds flew in and the audience cheered again. And then the professor spoke in my head saying we had special guests we had to meet and greet and then we left the stage and immediately music started to play.
