Chapter 9(I'm sorry)

        Dr.Niya comes in to check on me and this time am going home.She asks Aunt to come and sign my discharge papers and Jordan is asked to go for my medicine.
       "Yuck,medecine,I hate them",I say in disgust and Jordan laughs,
      "You have to take them,it's a must".He  pats me on the shoulder and hands me my phone to call him if anything.I miss my phone.
   
     I go to the school page and the news of my 'accident' is really trending,so I became a star after all.I smile at the comments below the picture of me on the floor and Nick and Jordan around me.People are ready to skin Nicholas Pierce alive after all.
 
       I hear a knock on the door and see Lily come through it.My face curls up in a smile and drops when Nick follows.
      "Hey,Liz"  
     "Heyy,come in,well you are already in so,sup?
Nick keeps himself at one corner of the room and I feel content with myself,"you better hide ,man".
     "Jordan called and said you were being discharged and I ,I mean "we" decided to come and see if we could help with anything."
     "Aawn Lily,thanks so much.I really do need the help,especially with the clothes and toiletries."She walks to my bed and take my hand,"Get well soon Liz",I smile and she leaves to get another bag for the things.
      Nick puts his mobile phone in his back pocket and heads towards my bed,"No Nick,not today".He looks at me confused and I decide to explain further,
    "I don't want to hear the intentional and revenge crap,so if that's what you are gonna say,am not interested,keep it".He passes his hand through his hair and I notice his curls are really nice,makes me want to touch them.But,I hold the want back and focus on being strong right now,no one is bullying me today.
       "I know,am sorry I said that",I raise my head and look at him with eyes wide opened and mouth agape and heart beat skipping,did he just say"sorry",OMG🌚 ,this day just got better.I decide to act angry to stress him out,this is going to be fun.
    "Sorry,it won't reverse time nor will it get me out of these things",I say looking at the bandage on my leg.
 
  "  Yeah  but",Nick's phone rings and he pauses to take the call.I don't know what the caller wants but this is so annoying,he or she had to call in the middle of me obtaining what I want,an apology from Nicholas Pierce.
     "It's Jordan,he wants me to get you down there.Lily and your Aunt are coming for your things so we need to move."Nick moves to my side and extends his arm to help me up but I reject it.
       "No thanks,I can do it on my own",I say looking away and try to get up.I move one step forward and the next step causes me to stumble and fall.Wait!Did I say fall?Almost-fall.Nick catches me before I fall on my face.I hold onto his arm tightly and he grabs me bridal-style.
     "What are you doing?I ask him surprised and angry at the same time.
     "What does it look like am doing?Am getting you down there and don't try to say anything or do anything,cos I can drop you and I will drop like baggage.So just don't,do anything".I shoot him a death glare that he smirks at and proceeds for the door.Passer-bys look at us with all soughts of expressions that makes me want to disappear,Oh God.I hide my face in his collar and he laughs at it.
        "I didn't know you were the shy-type",I look up at him and smile,"There are many things you don't know about me".
