Chapter 6(Problems)

             "What is it?
              "He is dead"
   Dead?What do you mean dead?I look at Lily horrified by what she just said,"dead" is a really strong word.I turn to look at Nick who is facing the window unconcerned.
     "This guy is so impossible,aishh",I mutter under my breath and turn to focus my attention fully on Lily.
          "Please explain further,I don't get you",I asked calmly trying to not let his ignorance of the issue at stake

worry me.Lily sighs before continuing.
         "Aunt and Uncle have been displeased with Nick these days so the news of the almost -occuring accident,"
         "Girl,pause!I stop her in words to correct her,It's not an almost -occuring accident,it was an accident",I mention the last four words slowly so Nick also gets the fact from where he was standing that, he hurt me.Please go on".
        She lets out a small laugh before continuing,"The news of the accident,just worsened everything".Erm..Lizzie....She asks slowly,
           "Yes Lily,what is it?I ask with my heart starting to race as the manner in which she called me literally screamed"there is a problem".
           "Are you the girl bec..cause of whom he g..got detention"?She stutters through and now I know the question isn't screaming "problem",there is a problem,"OH God,what has Nick done now?
       "Hello!!He interrupts with a sarcastic tone before continuing to blurt what I know will be "senseless" words out.
       "For starters,am still here.Plus,I can handle mom and dad,don't worry Cousin",he gives Lily a reassuring smile that makes me smile too,he has got a cute smile though🙈.
       "Anyway,It is not my fault that some people,can't stay away from me",He smirks and turns to wink at me.I open my mouth to say something to get back at him for being so full of himself but I keep my words to myself,that jerk doesn't deserve any reply.I scoff at his words before turning to look at the clock,Where is Jordan?
       We hear a knock on the door and Jordan walks in with a couple of plastic bags and a lunch box,"Thank God",I sigh with relief at his sight and he rushes towards me to kiss me on the forehead before dropping the plastic bags he was holding.
          " Am so sorry Cousin,I had to get some stuff,call Aunt,get your clothes,...."I burst into laughter and so does Lily from behind him with Nick.Oh Jordan,he is so stressed out.
          He looks around and realises we are not alone,we have got company(companies🙊,if allowed) with us.
         "It's alright Jordan,am fine.I won't stay here for a long time plus we have got Aunt to help with any formal matters,She is on her way here anyway".He smiles faintly before turning to see lucidly the lady behind him.
        "Ermm,hi",he smiles shyly and I see Lily blush,"Hello".
        "Am Jordan",he stretches his hand for a handshake and Lily takes it.
        "Lilian Thompson,Lily will be okay though",she tucks her hair behind her ear and looks at her feet shyly.I try to hold my laugh back but it's really becoming hard with way they are behaving.
              I look at Nick who looks back at me with some kind of warmth that melts me on the inside.
