Chapter four

School closes and students rush out like it's the final day of school,which I wish it actually was.I say goodbye to Lilian and pack my bag.I walk through the corridor as end of the day couples like the pathetic"Nick and Diana" walk past me with hands together,"eew".Pairs and groups also walk past me and my want to get outside becomes a 'need'.
           Like any normal person without a car would,I head in the direction of the already filling and moving bus.The bus driver starts the bus and I ran as fast as I can to catch the bus but unfortunately,don't make it on time to catch it.I stop as the distance between the bus and I widen and it disappears.I drop my bag and try to catch my breath for a while before figuring what to do.I look around to see if any of the students live in my neighbourhood,but I find no one.Anyway,it is not like I know anyone with a car .I give up on the car idea and decide to use the only means that existed before cars,"my legs".
              As I turn around,I hear "little sister",I recognize the voice,smile and turn around to find him standing in front of black toyota with  a smirk on his face.
                  "Missed me?"
'Jordan!I scream not caring about the presence of other people around.OMG,it's a miracle.I begin to  run towards him like a kid
but stop midway as a car almost knocks me down.I fall to the ground and scream so loud that motion around me stops. Everything ceases as everyone turns to see the girl on the ground.I see the car door opened and see a pair of sneakers approaching me,the " bloody" driver.I try to stand up before he reaches me,but I feel an excruciating pain in my back that keeps me down.I decide to teach that jerk to drive like he has got some sense when I get to see him.
         Jordan rushes through the crowd to help me up and picks my bag from the floor.
            "Are you okay,are you hurt?
I look at him and then at the bruise on my hand ,
             "Yeahh,I think so,just a few bruises plus I think I twisted my ankle too".I see Nicholas appear behind Jordan with guilt and worry battling each other on his face,so it was him.
           "Am so sorry,I did not realising soon that she was crossing the road,I would have stopped earlier than I did.Is she okay?"
     I looked away and rolled my eyes before turning to look at him,"do I look okay?Dude,you almost knocked me down for real".Jordan decided to speak for me as he realised my growing anger for the reckless driver.
          "Yeah,she is ,just a few bruises plus she twisted her ankle too.I will take her to the hospital,don't worry she will be fine".
          "Am so sorry,please let me be the one to take her.Am responsible for it all,I will pay for any bills that come up too. "After hearing Nick mention responsibility ,I decide to take him up on it,on the contrary,this accident is actually becoming interesting.Jordan tries to refuse it but I held his hand to signal him that it was okay,Nick has to do it anyway,he caused all this.
     
         I let Jordan help me up and walk me to the car as Nick leads the way to part the crowd and open the door before us.We sit in the car ,Nick starts the engine and off we go.
