I woke up with an eerie feeling, like something was wrong. My eyelids felt too heavy that I hardly could open them and my body ached. Something was really really wrong. It took me half an hour to open my eyes finally and notice my surroundings. Where was I? It did not look like my home at all. I was on a king sized bed, in the equally king sized room. I raised my head a little only to see a big picture of a man and a woman smiling warmly at me. The whole white wall had different pictures and other two, colored in gray, were just left blank. A cupboard with books, a coffee table with two mugs, scattered pillows and my shoes in the middle. One wall was covered with white curtain which fluttered at intervals, letting cool breeze in. I guessed the ocean was near.
I heaved in.
What happened last night? I could hardly remember a single bit. Actually yesterday had been erased from my memory temporarily. At least for a time being. I did not remember how long I laid back there, before it occurred to me that I should be scared. I rolled right only to find the night lamp still emitting its dull lights. Then I saw another picture. Man! Was I imprisoned in some 90's photo studio. And then it clicked.
No my memories did not come back.
I just realized whose picture was on the table.
Oh My God!
I was in Aniruddha Jayakar's room!
What did I do to land here????????

Yep, I know relatively small chapter. I have written the remaining part too; but thougth why not post a cliffhanger. Plus, there is a big surprise in the next one which I have planned a long ago.

Oh, and I had been to Mumbai last week. Less craziness than last time but as it is said: "If you don't return home without a change in yourself, You haven't travelled at all."
Happened in my case and I am kind of falling for the city.
