Hey guys, you will a little confused as I have deleted earlier three parts. I can tell I have written them okayish but they didn't fit in this practical world. Imagination can be used upto the extent and I felt like my characters weren't what I thought them to become. So the parts were deleted and I started a fresh.
Sometimes you literally wish to disappear or fast forward the time so you don't have to go through the mess you have experienced. But that is not how it goes. You have to face bumps in your life as bravely as you can like you welcome happiness with such a joy. I know I don't make sense. But see, when the bump of my life was coming out of her car and I saw her hideous 100 kilo weighted figure, I threw out all my senses. My brain kind of short circuited.
Because no matter how much talking I do in front of people, my legs give away the minute I spot her. I am that much scared of her. From childhood.
"One second." Lakhi stopped me, "Childhood?"
I watched her arguing with the driver. And suddenly my heart gave away when they finished talking and she dragged the driver out. Man could this night be any more horrible! Nuts' eyes were wide.
"Who is he? Who is those other people?"
Nuts took my hand and patted it with sympathy. Suddenly everything was still for me and I couldn't take my eyes off that one person who broke my heart in pieces, who happened to be my first love and also fiancé, make it ex.
"Bulbul are you okay? You look sick." Lakhi inquired. I turned around and stared him for full five minutes. I could tell I had turned pale.
"Umm. I guess so."
All the unwelcomed guest moved to the door and I saw my father before they disappeared in my house. I relaxed and took a breath. I saw Aniruddha handing out the bottle and took large sip of water.
"Well, seems like party ends for me from here." I bit my tongue.
Lakhi was still looking at me with questioning eyes and as Aniruddha was on driver's seat and I was sitting right behind him, I couldn't see his expressions.
"That was my ex and his parents. And among the other two ladies, one was my aunt." I informed.
"Oh."
Lakhi looked apologetic like he was the one to break up with me. I gave him my dimpled smile, but he was taken a back by that.
"Don't be scared. They are probably here to meet my parents." I assured, "And I should go. I need to be there to hear everything first hand before my parents alter it."
"I am coming with you." Nuts told.
"Don't be silly. We have office tomorrow. If anything happens I will let you know."
"But that bhensh will eat you alive."
"Nuts, it's my home where they are standing. Not to mention my aunt is here, they will maintain some decorum."
"You sure?"
"Yeah." I clutched the door and took a breath one more time before coming out of car. They all came out too.
Lakhi hugged me and told me to inform if I was okay. Nuts still wanted to come but I talked her out. Then I turned to Aniruddha who by the way had hardly said anything.
"Thanks for the ride." I extended my hand. He shook it.
"Yeah. Take care."
"I will."
He held my gaze for a while before looking away in the direction of my house. He let go of my hand and smiled weakly.
