"What do you mean by you wanted to play cupid?" Nuts stomped her foot impatiently.

"That I played cupid." Vivaan smiled at her, totally unaffected by her fiery glares.

That made Nuts annoyed and before we could do anything, she punched him hard on face. Oh, I forgot to mention that Nityapriya used to be state level boxer in her school days and still worked out. So, when Vivaan winced with pain, I knew she must have hit hard. That served the guy right. He should not have used his already garbage brain to set Aniruddha and me. Yes! Aniruddha and Me!!!

I happened to know the truth behind the flowers after we returned to Lakhi's home. It was Vivaan who sent that note and flowers in attempt to play a cupid. He thought that it was some cosmic rays that made Aniruddha's ball hit the only sleeping girl in the stadium. The universe wanted us to meet and fall for eachother. And therefore as a God's Angel, it was his duty to make that happen. These are not my words. He said exactly these lines, while we  all shook our head at his reasoning. I tried to explain him that science was behind the reason of me being hit, not the stupid universe; but he refused to hear anything against his belief.

At last, Nuts had asked Lakhi.

Who made him the captain?"

Lakhi shrugged and chugged his drink.

"We wonder the same. But I think universe is the key reason!"

So, back to our current scenario. Vivaan had done a really silly thing. He still wanted to play cupid and thought that it would be nice if Aniruddha and I went in same car. So, he punctured tyres of Nuts' car and gained a punch from her. To every human, his/her car means a lot, especially when it is bought from their salary. Nuts is no exception. She would not have minded if it had happened naturally. But it was done under a scheme and she could not stand it. Her beloved car was standing there because of a human whom she was going to hate from now on.

"Don't worry. The mechanic will repair it and deliver it in the morning." Lakhi tried to say.

"How would you feel if the same has done to you." Nuts clenched her fist again, while Vivaan looked away.

He was clearly taken aback by Nuts reaction and walked to Aniruddha's side on the other end of road. Aniruddha was standing near his car and showed no interest at all. He kept busy himself by playing game in his mobile. He would look in our direction occasionally, but would not say a single word. He had said very little till now. So, he was not all that talkative. Even during our conversations, he would node, comment if needed and hear out the stories. He was not man of words but man of expressions. His face showed what he was thinking or maybe I was staring at his face too much that I started to hallucinate.

"I won't come with that jerkface!" Nuts screamed in the middle of my speaking and I shut my mouth immediately.

She pointed her finger at Vivaan, who looked terrified as the attention shifted back to him. Lakhi was more confuse than afraid. The night was settling down. Most of the people had already left. We were the last ones and were in a problematic situation. He was the only one who was talking sensible.

"But we can't leave without you and you won't be able to find a cab here." He tried to reason out.

"No." Nuts replied plainly.
