akaashi was waiting for you as you finished locking up the gym and changing back into your school uniform. you put the blazer back in your school bag, you felt the sweater vest was sufficient enough."everyone else already went ahead to the train station. i waited for you though." akaashi told you as you walked out of the gym, double checking to make sure it was locked. kaori would've killed you if it wasn't.
"so, how are we gonna do this?"
"'this' meaning what exactly?" akaashi tilting his head a little, your heart started racing a little when you saw this cute expression he had going on.
"like...how do we act around kenma, is what i'm trying to say." akaashi thought for a while, the first five minutes of the walk to the train station, being silent.
"we just act how we've been acting but like, maximize it. only if you can handle that darling." akaashi elbowed your side lightly, sending a wink towards you.
"i can handle it just fine, the question is, can you handle it baby?" you said, squishing his cheeks. akaashi was thankful you let go before you could feel the burning of his cheeks. thank god it was dark out, he didn't want you seeing his red cheeks either.
"n/n! took you long enough, the train should be coming in five minutes." lev shouted, waving his arms around, as if you couldn't see his tall stature from a three feet away.
"lev, they can see you, you know that right? who else wouldn't see a tall, gray haired, green eyed dude?" kuroo told him as he slapped him on his back.
"lev, did you text alisa we're gonna be home late today? i really don't want another repeat when we forgot to tell her we were coming home late." you scratched your cheek as you remembered that day when alisa yelled at you and lev for not telling her where you were.
"yes, yes i did! she said she was gonna send you money in like ten minutes and to be home by nine." you gave lev a thumbs up and sat down on the bench where the heater on the roof was, tokyo's october was generally chilly.
you were about to take your blazer out of your school bag when akaashi walked up next to you.
"are you okay? you look a little cold there love." akaashi put his arm around your shoulders as he pulled you to his side.
"yeah i'm fine, the train's gonna be here in a minute, i'll be okay." you told akaashi as he started rubbing your arm with his hand. right on cue, the train came and akaashi grabbed your hand to lead you inside the train car.
"what stop do we get off of f/n? i want kuroo to pay for my ramen as soon as possible so i can rub it in his face." at the mention of the bet he lost, kuroo stuck his tongue out at bokuto, pulling his eye lightly.
"in about like five stops, so twenty minutes give or take." you sat down at the nearest available seat, putting your airpods in, determined to take a nap. you had missed out on your lunch nap since you gave it up for akaashi.
