The Plan

~Y/N's pov~

After a month in the 'nuthouse' as Azula and I called it I learned that staying silent and doing what you were told was best.

But it wasn't all bad. Most of the time Azula and I just talked, I mean it's the only thing we could do.

We became friends, proper friends. Although, I felt something else... sometimes this warm, incredible feeling...

"Y/N," Azula interrupted my thoughts, "see over there?" She said nodding at the metal fence separating us and the outside world. We were outside on our 'break' (walking around a small yard in handcuffs and guards everywhere).

"Ummmm... Yes" I replied.

"Well, remember when you first arrived, how you melted through your restraints? Well, maybe together we could do the same, but..."

"To the whole fence" I finished.

"Exactly!" she grinned, that her eyes glowing with ambition.

"But... I've only ever done that once, when I was desperate to get to you, I don't even know if I can make blue fire again..."

"Oh don't be like that," she said in a teasing voice, "just try. For me".

"Alright" I said, a smile spreading across my face.

~Azula's pov~

Y/N and I spent a few days planning our escape. We eventually decided that tomorrow we would wait until 'break' time. Halfway through the guards changed post, which was our opportunity. We would break out of our restraints, then bring the fence down.

After that... Well, we we're figuring it out. Don't get me wrong, I always want a plan to be perfect. But honestly, there wasn't really many places for us to go. Y/N's whole town think she's mad, and well, the whole world think I am!

But we'll work it out. For some reason, everything is different with
Y/N. She's... not like anyone else. I feel so happy to hear her voice, to be near her. If anyone did anything to her...

Ah! Must be the nuthouse making me go all soft. Maybe...
