Trevor's pov ***
I didn't sleep but maybe two hours all night. I miss my woman! Who in the hell came up with this tradition of not seeing the bride before the wedding? They need their ass kicked.
I call her a few times, just to hear her voice. The sound of her laughter calms my soul.
Now I'm standing in front of the trellis that my brothers, dad, and I built for this wedding. I'm trying to wait patiently as I talk to Beth and Jarod.
The music starts playing softly and they take their seats. I hear Lonestar singing Amazed as my brothers escort my sisters down the makeshift aisle. Then dad walks mom down the aisle. I smile at all of them.
Drake and Jilly both hug me when they reach me. "You are in so much trouble!" Jilly and Drake both say.
"Nothing but sunshine!" I reply. I turn back to watch Natalie and Trace walk toward me. They both hug me just as Jillian and Drake had.
"I love you, brother!" Jillian said with a smile.
"You're beautiful, little sister! I love you too!"
"Oh brother! Wait until you see your bride! I almost went straight!" We laughed.
"I already know that she is beautiful." He laughs again.
Next was mom and dad. Mom was already crying. "Are you going to cry loudly, mom?" I ask as I hug her.
"Maybe! I love you, son!"
"I love you too, mom! I love you, dad!" I hug dad.
"I love you, son. Remember when she comes out, you still need to breathe." I look at him oddly. "She is breath- taking! Come on Anna. Let's stand at our seats so that we can get these two married." They went to their seats.
The music changes to Keeper Of The Stars. I lose my breath as Ashley steps out of the house. My God! She is an angel! Ashley glides down the aisle to me. When the music stops, Mallory had to have her say. She's entirely adorable!
Apparently Mallory was satisfied with my answer. She nodded her head and went to her mom and dad.
The entire ceremony passed in a blur. I can't remember a word that I said. But I have kissed my wife! Twice!
When we turn to face our family, I keep my hand on her. When I touch her bare back, I'm stunned. I look at her back and see the design of the dress from behind. And lose my breath again. Oh shit! We need to get this reception over with quickly. I want to make fireworks of my own. If Ashley isn't pregnant by the next month, I will be extremely surprised.
"How much are you going to make me suffer?" I whisper to her.
"Are you suffering? Hell, we just got married!" Ashley asked innocently.
"Yes! A case of massive hard-on!" She laughed loud and proud.
"Care to share the joke, brother?" Drake asked.
"Nope! That is for my wife's ears only!" I tell him.
We greet all of our guests as we sit down to eat.
"Let's get this party started!" Natalie shouts. Everyone else responds in the positive. The music starts playing low as we fill our plates. Ashley and I sit at the head of the long table. Everyone is laughing and talking as we eat.
Everyone except Ashley's parents. They are talking to each other and looking around as if assessing the worth of the ranch. I glance at dad. He catches my eye and nods. Then he looks back to the Carringtons. I catch Trace's eye and nod towards the whispering guest. He nods.
