"Daniel, Ashley said that we can stay longer. So, do you want to?" Steph said as soon as we get into the kitchen.

"If the Hunt family doesn't mind." He looks at the family. They all smile and nod.

"Alright, let's go! I need to get home and back to work." Father said as he walks into the kitchen with mother and Michael following him.

"You guys can take the car back. We will pick it up when we get back." Daniel told his father-in- law. He handed father the keys along with a hundred dollar bill. "That money is for gas."

"There are witnesses that we gave you a hundred for gas. Which is more than enough to get you home. The tank is already full. Take care of my car."

"I'll get Lori's seat out of it for our flight home." Daniel added.

Mallory came from the restroom. "I washed my hands good!" She looks around then her smile falls when she sees the luggage. "No! I'm not leaving doc! She's mine!" She ran to me and clamped onto my legs.

I pick her up and hug her. Mallory puts her face in my neck. "Hey now, buttercup. You, mommy, and daddy are staying a few more days until daddy has to go to work."

She looks up with a small smile. "Promise? Daddy said that if you promise, you have to keep it."

"I promise! Your daddy is right. You should always keep your promises. It makes people like and respect you more."

  "That's what mommy said!"

Within minutes, my birth parents and brother, left. We were sitting down to eat breakfast. After breakfast, I try to help do the dishes. Anna and the girls refused to let me.

"Hey, doc, want to take Steph, Daniel, and Mallory for a ride?" Trevor asked me from the doorway.

"That sounds like a great idea! Let's go!" We went to the barn and saw that Mallory was there with Trace and Drake, along with her parents.

"Doc! Uncle Trace said that we can go for a ride on the horsies! Can you believe that?!"

"Yes! We are going on a ride!"

We saddled up several horses and left for a two hour ride. Mallory rode with me.

"You know that she is going to want to stay here forever." Daniel stated. He has been smiling and talking more since his mom-in- law has left.

"Just making sure that I'm the favorite aunt!" I reply instantly.

  "You are my favorite auntie!"

Steph laughed. "You are also her only auntie!"

"No she's not! I have auntie Jilly and auntie Nat!"

"But doc is the best!" I added.

"Yep!" We continue to our destination.

Which Trevor was the only one who knows where we are going. He stops on top of a hill and looks around. "Well, doc, what do you think? Will this work?"

I look around. This is where we ended looking at the fence a few days ago. "It is absolutely beautiful! What are you asking? Will this work for what?"

"Our home!" Trevor smiled at me. I was stunned! I had assumed that we would continue to live in the trailer.

I look around in the distance, to the east, about a quarter of a mile, I see the main house. Just past that, is the bunkhouse and our trailer. To the west is the woods. To the north is several trees, a stream, and the road leading to the ranch. To the south is the mountains. Everything is at a good distance away.
