REMEMBER THAT NIGHT

CHAPTER 7

"Ms. Myoui, Mr. Son wants you now in his office that will be on the 16th floor, the office is at the top of the floor", his secretary formally said.

Mina POV

Wow this CEO must have something on me to say that he wants to talk to me as in right now. I fixed myself for a while, i wanted to look presentable in front of that CEO. Even though i was nervous.

I was in a hurry to enter an elevator and pressed the button directing to the 16th floor and when i reached the said floor, i immediately went to the CEO office door, it was easy to find because there was a sign on the door.

I knocked on the door, and a deep manly voice answered me. My heart automatically beats erratically when i heard that familiar voice again after almost two years. I calmed myself first.

Mina behave, It's not Chaeyoung. It's the CEO of this company, always remember your going to talk about business", i whispered to myself before opening the door and going in.

He was facing the glass wall and so i didn't immediately see his face.

"Kindly, please take a sit Mina" then he turned to face me. It's like i was statue to my position when i saw his face. I blinked my eyes several times hoping that i was just mistaken, but no, Chaeyoung is really in front of me that's why his voice looks familiar.

"Mina take your sit", there is an authority in his voice. He was staring at me coldly, there was an longing emotion in his eyes but it was immediately replaced with an angry expression.

I was about to run out to his office to avoid this man but Chaeyoung immediately spok3d.

"Don't you ever think of running away from me again Mina, I won't let you get away from me" there is a mixed sense as it says. I just realized that Chaeyoung's family name is Son. Why did i forget that?, It's too late. I'm already here, so might as well i talk to this man about our businesses.

"Okay fine, Mr. Son I'm here to talk about our business, my business rather it's like you're deliberately stealing our investors, what's your intention?. If you have a personal grudge against me, well it is on me not on my family business. don't involve my family anymore" I argue with the man.

"You are not the one who can boss me around Mina, this is my company! I will do what I want and I get what I want" Chaeyoung shouted at me then he moved closer to me, i step back while Chaeyoung was getting closer and closer until my back stuck to the cold wall of his office, then he moved his face closer to me, i closed my eyes and waited for him to kiss me but Chaeyoung didn't do that. I opened my eyes and saw smirk on his face.

"I can get what I want Mina and I want you, Only you " he whispered in my ears.

"Not all the time you can get what you want Chaeyoung and another thing I'm not something you can own! put that in your stupid brain!"

"No, Mina your already mine when you opened your legs for me that night, Myoui Mina your already mine" then he claimed my lips. I didn't let myself drown in his kisses, I pushed Chaeyoung and then i slapped him. I didn't look back and just left Chaeyoung in his office. My tears came out while leaving his building.

She's been crying for a while now but her tears haven't stopped pouring, her eyes are blurry because of tears while driving so she didn't notice the car stop in front of her, she cursed when she hit the back of the  car in front of her.

Mina POV

The driver of the car came out and knocked on my car window. I pull it down and a fussy girl looked at me she looks kind of familiar though. She's wearing shades so i can't see her face that much. she really looked like Somi, my bestfriend.

This woman was like a wild lion, she's mad I guess but when she saw me it changed with happiness. Somi manage to stay calm and said, "It's been a long time Mina and in this situation we met, care for a cup of coffee? Just to make up for the long time we didn't see each other". she said smiling and i follow her in a coffee shop.

When they reached the parking lot of the coffee shop, i was shocked when Somi ran to hug me, she still hasn't changed, she's still looks beautiful and  cheerful.

It's awkward for me because Somi doesn't know anything about that night when Chaeyoung and me shared a night. I'm afraid Somi might get hurt even if we say she's just playing with Chaeyoung feelings. The fact that she's my bestfriend that time, it's like I'm betrayed her.

While drinking coffee, Somi was happy to talk about her past and recent events of her life, but what she was saying is not registered in my mind. I was lost in my own thoughts thinking about Chaeyoung and what happened earlier and Somi noticed it.

"Mina, are you okay, you're thinking so deep".

"hmmmmm, yeah I'm ok go on what are you saying again?".

"It's about Chaeyoung because he's shoving me away, you know I'm regretting what I did before. I still love him and I don't want to lose him",  i looked up at Somi

"I think he's dating someone now and I'm hurting"

"Hmmmm, yeah probably cuz I saw him in a mall with a girl, they're so sweet", I said in my mind, I wanted to tell Somi but i stopped myself.

We had a long conversation, Somi asked for my cellphone number before we decided to go home.

It's night time when i came to our resthouse, when i entered the living room i saw my daughter playing with Jackson.

"Heejin mama's here" Jackson told my daughter. Heejin faced me, and my tiredness and sadness that i felt earlier vanished when i saw my daughter's smile. Heejin immediately run to me.

I asked Jackson if my baby had eaten and said Tita fed her.

"Why don't you rest for one month now Mina you've been busy with work these past months you don't have much time with your child", said Jackson , it was full of concern.

"You know the company's situation right? I don't want to disappoint mom and dad they struggled to grow it and I will do my best to not fail.

"Let's just talk about it later dress up and let Heejin sleep then come down and let's eat together okay"

I dressed and put my child to sleep when i made sure she was asleep and i went down to eat.

I'm not eating my food and Jackson noticed it.

"Mina, I know someone is bothering you, tell me I'm just here to listen, I don't want to see you become like that, Spill it Mina".

I couldn't hold back my tears and i cried in front of him, Jackson came and comfort me, i hugged him.I'm  ready to tell the story. I told him everything that happened today from seeing Chaeyoung again to their conversation with Somi about her unrequited love for Chaeyoung.
