REMEMBER THAT NIGHT

CHAPTER 3

Mina POV

I was shopping for things that would need in my daughter's birthday when i noticed a familiar person on that pile of people on that counter, he's with a sophisticated and beautiful woman, my heart was beating as i stared behind the familiar man. I almost jumped out of shock when the man suddenly turned back to me. The man that i wanted to forget for a long time but it seemed like someone pinch my heart.

The man was tired of the woman who was with him, the woman wrapped her arms to him. When he see me his eyes  got big, the man is staring at me and it looks like he's gonna approach me  so when he's about to go near me, i quickly left the place. When i was sure that the man wasn't following, i went into the restroom and leaned on the wall, holding my chest, i cried because he is married now. as if i stabbed my heart repeatedly when i saw him with a woman. I faced the mirror and washed my face before leaving the restroom.

There's really no hope for us. I can't give a complete family for Heejin. Chaeyoung is already with someone and he looks happy and contented so it's better that he doesn't know about his own child. "Sorry baby mommy can't give you a complete family but I promise you I would love you with all my heart, I'll be your mom and dad at the same time" I whispered to myself.

Chaeyoung POV

"Yah, Son Chaeyoung, please accompany me to the mall please, please". Yeji said

My younger sister was hella annoying in my office so I agree to go at the mall to buy what she needs, she really didn't stop annoying me until i said yes. That's why I'm in the mall right now. I felt like someone was looking at me, so i looked at my back and I was surprised, i saw her again, the girl was no other than, the woman i have been looking for almost two years. She's still beautiful and she looks stunning today.

Suddenly Yeji put her arms on me. and i saw a hint of sadness through her face, it looks like she is thinking the wrong way because of this annoying brat beside me. I want to approach her but Yeji is bothering me right now, this brat want to go home.

I badly wants to hug and kiss her like there's no tomorrow. Now that i sees  her again, i won't let go of her,  but it's too late, he suddenly hurries to leave.

I wanted to chase her but Yeji is already annoying me to come home. I took the phone and called the known private investigator.

"Hello Taehyung, I want you to look for someone her name is Myoui Mina send me the details about her ASAP"

"Wait, what Myoui Mina dude you've been looking for her for almost ages won't you give up?", answer of my friend on the other line

"Okay, fine 10 million deal or no deal? "

"Hahahaha LMAO, okay deal you really know how to get me bro", then i ended the call.

Mina POV

Time flies fast and now we went out to Boracay for my baby Heejin's birthday celebration, when we arrived at the venue i handed her to my parents for a while.

I went strolling to our restaurant. Our restaurant is located near the seaside so i didn't waste time time and i wandered on the beach. While walking around i saw a family having fun i smiled at what i witnessed, if only i could give Heejin a happy and complete family but it's too late someone already owns him and i doesn't want to disturb Chaeyoung.

The sun is about to sink when i back to my family's resthouse, my daughter is asleep, she's tired of playing. I was surprised when my cousins arrived and we both hugged and greeted each other happily. The arrival of my cousin Jackson made me even more happy. He's come back here in the Philippines for a Heejin's celebration.

sheface lits up when i saw Jackson, Jackson became my partner in New York. He is the son of my father's sibling. It really funny that some of people mistaken that we are married especially when we both are strolling around with Heejin. Most of time people think of us as a couple, so we just laugh at the thought and find it gross. Jackso was my guardian angel there on New York so i ran to hug the him.

"Oh my gosh, Jackson you're here, I miss you already", i greeted to my cousin while hugging.

"Miss you, you didn't even call me, tskk"

"Ohhh, sorry, don't sulk anymore, hahahaha, I just became busy in preparation"

"Tssk apology accepted by the way, where is my cute niece?" He asked

"hmmmmm, she's sleeping, tired of playing, let it be, when she wakes up, you'll be the one to play with her ", I assured Jackson.

My family had dinner together and were happily chatting when Jackson suddenly asked about Heejin's father.

"No need for him to know I saw him last week and he looks happy with someone else", I said while smiling sadly

I can't help but cry at the thought. We are currently sitting in the sand and facing the sea while talking Jackson hugged me and he carefully pat me behind which made me cry even more, Jackson is my closest cousin and his the one i can lean on in times like this.

To ease the pain that i felt, we both agreed to go to the nearby bar and drink.,he let me drink because he knows the pain i going through now. I had several shots of tequila and martini and i felt dizzy, Jackson was scolding me but i didn't want to stop so he just gave up.
