My POV
I haven't seen Zara in quite some time now. I'm not mad at her for leaving me that night. Turns out she was in the club, I just didn't see her.
Either way, I'm exited to see her.

I get interrupted when someone calls me. It was an unknown number.

"Hello?"
"Y/n? It's me Jung—" he stops talking.
"Uh, I forgot you didn't know my name yet"
Oh, it's him..

"Whatever, how did you get my number, and why are you calling me?"
"Jeez, calm down, my father gave me it. It's not like I want your number either way. I just wanted to let you know we're having shifts today too"

"What? But I have my day off—"
"I know, change of plans"
I sigh
I'll have to cancel my plans with Zara. I was looking forward to it.
"Fine, I'll be there"

The day went as usual. He came early this time, I guess he learned his lesson.

At the end of our shift his parents came to the shop. It's my first time meeting his mom. She had a long black dress on, not too fancy. She greeted me, and gave me a warm smile, so did his father.

They look so nice, why is he like that? So.. childish.
"Since your shift is done, would you like to join us for dinner?" The mom asked.

"What, no— um, I mean...yeah sure hehe" he says.

He clearly doesn't want me to come. I won't bother to come either. It's a shame, his parents look nice, I don't want to decline their kind offer.

His mother gives him a "Just wait until we're home" look. He looks awkwardly down.
Both his parents face me and say "So?"

I can't say no, they have been nice with me, with the job. It would be impolite to reject their offer.

"Sure"

We arrive to their house. It's a small house with two bedrooms. So he's also an only child, like me. They have a big living room, with a large tv. The kitchen was right across, we all sat at the table.

The dinner was good.

We all talked for a bit. He was mostly quiet, his mother talked A LOT, about everything and everyone. I enjoyed listening to her.

"Oh, Jungkook, why don't you show her the view from the balcony?"
Jungkook.. finally I know his name.

"Uh, yeah, right" he hesitantly says.

They really have a beautiful view from their balcony, just like his mother talked about.
We both stare at the view.

"You like the view?" I ask.

"Hm?" He looks up at me.

I look back at him.

"Yeah, I like the view" he says, while staring at me.

I feel my heart beat faster. The more he stares at me, the more I get nervous.

"Uh.. yeah same, it's nice"

"Yeah?"

"Yeah.." I awkwardly say back.

"Well, I need to get home" I quickly say. Trying to avoid him.
"What about our deal?"
"What deal?"
What is he talking about? ....ohhhh the car deal.
"Right, yes I would like a ride home... Jungkook" I say with a sarcastic smile.
"What an ugly name" I jokingly say.

He smiles "Ah, I hate you"

"I know, you hate me so much that you even remembered our car deal, when I didn't. You know, you could've just acted like nothing? Unless.. you wanted to give me a ride"

"Ahah, nope, never" he says.

"You hate me so much don't you" I mockingly say.

"I do" he says, then pauses.

"But the view is just too nice"

He then walks out, to the car.

What? What does he mean... did he really just— you know what, I don't want to even know.

Forget it.
