chapter 5-the eyes of a sith

At this point Maul had one idea. He knew where the cruiser of jedi Ahsoka Tano was located, if he gave the location to the empire he might have enogh time to escape. There will need to be minimal distractions however, the terrified pike was even more scared now that the empire was following them, the zabrack could sense the fear in him. before long there were four corpses lying in the main area of the luxurious freighter. he spoke threw the comm channel.
"I have something you want, this ship doesn't belong to me, I intercepted it and have taken the people on it hostage"
"Identify yourself"
"Maul"
"the war criminal, pull your ship into the our hanger and we won't charge you with treason, we will discuss what you will give us"
"pulling in now"
Maul hadn't completely worked out a plan but he had always been a quick thinker, he was trained by the self proclaimed emperor of the galaxy after all. had been the only one who knew what would happen to the galaxy but no one believed him and look where that got them. docking procedures had begun. Were they going to release him? the ship was now in the hanger of the intimidating star destroyer.

the boarding ramp slowly opened and the smoke spewed out as Maul walked into the new design of emperial warship.
"follow me and you can tell us what you can give us"
"of course officer"
Maul spoke in a smug voice knowing he could kill him in a matter of seconds.
"It's admiral and you should be under arrest, the only reason your not is because of the information you have about the Mandalorians, specifically the death watch. You were their leader, were you not?
"I was until i betrayed them"
"you say that casually, what I want to know is who is the dominant faction of the death watch"
Maul didn't have the answers and thought they would ask about the padawan, he was getting stressed and was frantically thinking of a way to get off the cruiser. "well..."
"I left my faction for dead but Bo-Katan's group took them into custody as an alternative"
"chart a course for Mandalore we leave immediately, there is no time to waste"
"and what will become of me"

"we have a special guest here to see you"
They had walked up to the bridge of the destroyer and was looking at the spectacle of hyperspace, everyones eyes were engulfed in a blue glow except Maul's whose eyes remained the sith yellow they had been for almost as long as he could remember. the admiral turned out of the room and walked to the elevator. "come with me Maul"
The corridors despite being from a brand new ship were mirky and bleak, they appeared to be straight from a venator from the start of the clone wars. they were entering an unknown room to the former sith, the room only let in light from the hallway outside and inside was director krennic.
"I have been tasked with creating the empires super weapon, a ship from the republic entered the area around it, the person operating the ship is unknown but it is from a cruiser that you and Ahsoka Tano were on, although the ship crashed threw a panel of the weapon and the pilot was presumed dead it could still be you. You've never been a fan of dying, have you?"
"I escaped the cruiser in a shuttle and have no memory of a super weapon, what do you need a weapon like that for anywhere, what re you building out there?"
"You've also never been a fan of lying, I believe you, It must have been Tano then"
The admiral from earlier spoke in an irritated tone.
"You havn't provided us with much useful information, is there anything that could help us"
At that moment a storm trooper contacted him threw the comm link. all the admiral said was 'uhuh' and 'good job'. "I'm waiting Maul we don't have all day"
"I know where Tano is"
The room fell silent but then Krennic began to thank Maul before the admiral abrumptly interrupted him.
"Tell me some information...I don't know"
