Hannah Foster - Black Friday (starkid) this is my theory on the loop affect in the Hatchetfield universe and only Hannah and McNamara know it. I think the town is stuck in a government simulation in which the people of Hatchetfield are doomed to live each day in an apocalyptic situation and they keep reliving the same apocalypse every day until the figure out a way to survive and then a new apocalypse is thrown onto them. This would explain why Emma and Paul are married in black Friday even though they both died in the guy who didn't like musicals. I also think that Hanah and McNamara are the only ones who know it as they both look directly at the camera. This also makes Hannahs song at the end of black Friday (what if tomorrow comes) make a whole lot morse since. Some of the lyrics include "Do you all see what I see. What I know. What I see. Do you all see the memories? Tomorrow reminds me, Tomorrow will come, Tomorrow won't come" I think Hanah knows she wasn't the only one who knew about the simulation but now McNamara is stuck in the black and white she can no longer feel the connection and she's asking if anyone else can realise. Also, the obvious "tomorrow will come, tomorrow won't come". The also starts and ends with the same ticking noise.
