Number five and you had been on a mission together when he first time traveled. Both being only 13 at the time you worked together and got along quite nicely. Or as nicely as he could be. So when he went back in time back to 2019 you were left behind now in your late 60s.
You two while working together had fell in love and had been married for 40 years. But him being back in is 13 year old body he knew that even if he time traveled back you wouldn't be with him. So all he had was the memories.
