Taehyung loved when Jungkook loosened his leash just enough for him to play.

Most of the time, Jungkook dealt with the police himself but given that detective Kim took

it upon himself to dare contact Jimin, it seemed Jungkook wanted things to be a little messy this time around. These types of lessons were Taehyung's favorite to teach. Why? Because fear would be spread, and blood would be spilt. The public would get a reminder that the police couldn't protect them, and the police would be reminded of how little power they actually had. Taehyung had already sent out the warning to the cops on their payroll to avoid the station house this morning so if they failed to take it – oh well. Namjoon was just sitting down to drink his morning coffee and look over his case files already piled on his desk when the double doors to the station house burst open and several men in black suits walked in and whipped out their guns. It was one popping sound after another and Namjoon barely managed to get under his desk as bodies dropped to the floor all over the room. Papers flying up into the air as they were shredded by bullets and it seem to last forever but was only a few minutes at best before everything went still and quiet. The room smelled of gunfire and fear. Taehyung's favorite perfume.

The sound of footsteps filled the air as the men parted and Taehyung walked into the station

with a little bounce in his step, a hand in one pocket of his slacks and the other spinning a rather large knife in between his fingers. Taehyung's messy hair was in his face, making him look like the wild animal he was. Stepping over the mess spread about the floor, Taehyung made his way to towards Namjoon's desk, whistling. Namjoon slowly rose from under the desk as he looked around with wide eyes at the aftermath. Dead bodies of his peers decorated the room as he frowned and looked forward just as Taehyung's knife slammed into his desk, right through the stack of papers as Taehyung was leaned forward, tilting his head as his piercing, cold eyes tore into Namjoon and he cocked his head to the side.

"Why, good morning detective Kim." Taehyung said with a bit of cheer to his voice.

Namjoon's eyes narrowed behind his glasses as he slowly stood up and Taehyung's eyes followed him the entire time without moving his head.

"Vantae..." Namjoon whispered, trying to keep his voice steady. He knew showing this

animal fear would get him killed instantly but it was hard to hold composure after your entire workplace became a slaughterhouse. Taehyung's hand slipped from the knife, leaving it in place as he slipped that hand into the other pocket of his slacks as he gave a closed eye grin.

"It has been a while, hm?" Taehyung asked as he walked around the desk and towards

Namjoon as he sat down on it beside the other. Namjoon side glanced at Taehyung as he raised his hand to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"Was it really necessary to do all this?" Namjoon asked as Taehyung blinked and looked

around before he shrugged innocently.

"Had to clean house, boss's orders." Taehyung said with a laugh as he turned his head and

let his gaze fall back on Namjoon. He then peeked around the other, seeing Namjoon's partner laying dead on her desk and then sat back as he chuckled. "Guess you will need a new partner too, whoops." Taehyung said as he closed his eyes. Namjoon's eyes narrowed as his jaw tightened and he tried to keep himself together.

"All this because I talked with Park Jimin?" Namjoon asked and Taehyung opened one eye

to look at Namjoon.

"Of course, you should know better than to try and pull stupid shit like that. Park Jimin is

under special protection from the boss. And you know that if you violate that, you have to pay." Taehyung said as he turned his gaze forward as he let out a sharp whistle as one of the men came forward. Namjoon looked at the man, noticing he was carrying a sack of something, the cloth was dyed red at the bottom with blood? The man dropped it on Namjoon's desk as it unwrapped and Namjoon's eyes widened when he found the police chief's head sitting there, the man's last, horrified face staring back at him. Namjoon felt his stomach turn as he tensed, and Taehyung stood up as he pulled his hands from his pockets.

"Look at how many people had to pay for your mistake. I am sure some of these fine folks

had families that will miss them, I mean fuck, the Cap' here had a whole wife and two pups that I had to toss into the ocean. Shame, right?" Taehyung sing songed as he walked around Namjoon but kept his gaze on the man's horrified face.

"All of these people died because of you. Because you want to continue to be a pain in my

Boss's ass. The only reason you are still breathing is because of his graces. If I had it my way, I would take you to my special room...take my time and play with you until there was nothing left of you." Taehyung whispered into Namjoon's ear as a few of the men grimaced at the mention of Taehyung's special room. No one should ever go there willingly. Namjoon's eyes lowered before they closed.

"Why...does he let me live?" Namjoon asked as Taehyung walked around the desk and

pushed the head onto the floor and wiped his hand on the grunt's suit.

"Hmm. Because despite the major pain in the ass that you can be, you did try to help him

back then with his father. Our Boss is an honorable man. You saved his life, so he is letting you keep yours, but his patience grows thin as does mine. This is your last freebie, after today, I will have free reign to do what I please with you." Taehyung said with a grin as he pulled his knife out of the desk and then glanced up when he heard sirens in the distance, no doubt another police station was responding. Namjoon's eyes narrowed.

"Who is Park Jimin to him? Why was he willing to do...all of this just to give me a

warning?" Namjoon asked as Taehyung walked back around the desk, stalking like a tiger that was about to pounce.

"Hmm. You will find out who Park Jimin is soon enough...but for now, keep one thing in

mind Kim Namjoon – " Taehyung paused as Namjoon looked at him with confusion before he felt a sharp pain and his eyes widened as he slowly looked down at the knife jabbed deep into his side before he looked back up to Taehyung and he actually froze in fear at the deadly cold look in the other man's eyes. "You live and breathe by the grace of Jeon Jungkook and nothing more. Stay the fuck away from Park Jimin, this is your first and only warning." Taehyung said as he yanked the knife out as a bit of blood squirted out and Namjoon gasped before stumbling and falling back on the floor as he pressed his hand into his side as he stared up at Taehyung who was standing over him and looking down at him with a manic expression.

"Now be a good boy and sit. I am sure you already know it is pointless to try and report

this so why not play dead instead? I hope I don't have to visit you again anytime soon." Taehyung said as he crouched down and used the pointed end of the knife to lift Namjoon's chin as their faces were close and Taehyung sniffed at him and purred at the fear reflected in Namjoon's scent. "See ya around Detective." Taehyung said as he moved to stand and left with his men as Namjoon felt lightheaded as the puddle of blood formed on the floor under him as his head fell to the side.

Taehyung raised the bloodied blade to his lips as his tongue ran across it, tasting the sweet

iron as he smirked darkly. One of the men opened the door to the black SUV parked in front of the station and he got in. The SUV pulling off just as the police cars and ambulance pulled up. Taehyung sat back as he crossed his legs and admired his knife as he hummed happily as he relaxed into the seat.

Just another day at work.
