The world would get to see it all. The beginning and the end of a flawed system.
It was long overdue, the downfall of it all. When people in power become comfortable and
lazy, so sure that nothing can take what they have is when it all falls apart. Jungkook had seen it all before. His father had thought for the longest time that he was untouchable, that the empire he'd built would protect him and him alone. It was a shame to see him fall so hard from his throne but Jungkook didn't let the seat sit empty long. If there was one thing Jungkook learned from the experience, it was to never make the same mistakes as his father. Jungkook watched and learned, much like a young lion cub that followed his father's lead until he was big and strong enough to take it all for himself. Jungkook was a man that enjoyed chaos. He grew bored of the same old, same old and it was about time the world felt how vulnerable and helpless it truly was. Under all of their noses, Jungkook had slowly become stronger and stronger. To the point where you wouldn't know if the person sitting beside you was to be trusted or not.
Many people would ask him why? What did he hope to gain from something like this? His
answer would always be the same. A lazy shrug and a slight smile as he looks out at the city through narrowed eyes. "Why not?" Would always be Jungkook's reply. As the crowd of reporters grew outside of the white house, the flash of cameras more blinding than the sun. President Albert stood behind the podium as he tried to answer all the questions fired off at him. Jungkook stood off to his right a little. Hands bound as he stared forward, a blank expression on his handsome features as he stood tall. Namjoon standing next to him as he kept his own gaze forward, his arms folded behind him as he took count of how many armed police officers and secret service members were walking around. Jungkook glanced to the side at President Albert as he closed his eyes and with ease slipped his hands free of the handcuffs. A gasp escaped the crowd of reporters and before anyone could react, the end of Jungkook's gun was pressed against the side of the President's head.
President Albert's eyes were wide in shock as all his men turned their guns on Jungkook
but it was risky to shoot without the President being injured or worse. President Albert shifted his gaze to meet Jungkook's.
"H – How?" President Albert asked.
"Easy." Jungkook said.
Suddenly all the armed guards turned their weapons on the crowd. Namjoon stepped
forward towards the edge of the stage. Offering a kind smile as he clapped his hands to get all the reporters' attention.
"Ladies and gentlemen! I'm afraid there has been a change in plans." Namjoon said.
The people in the crowd glanced at one another in confusion.
"This press conference will soon be broadcasted worldwide. This will be a message for
everyone watching. Getting comfortable within the confinements of your lazy lives ends today." Namjoon said.
The crowd filled with murmurs as Namjoon glanced at the camera crew and nodded.
Yoongi stood in a television broadcasting room, bodies littered the floor as he typed away on the keyboard. Pressing against his earpiece as he tilted his head as he closed his eyes and sighed.
"Ready to go." Yoongi said.
Namjoon nodded as he listened in on his own earpiece and glanced at Jungkook as he
nodded. Jungkook looked back to the pale President and tilted his head as he offered a dark, humorless smile.
"Any last words?" Jungkook asked.
"Y – You can't do this!? Do you really think you can get away with killing me?!" President
Albert shouted. Jungkook cocked the gun as President Albert let out a squeal of fear.
"Who are you to me?" Jungkook asked.
Just as the broadcast started, taking over people's televisions all over the world. In the jail
where Taehyung was, the inmates ran to look at the television with wide and shocked eyes. Taehyung slightly lifted his head, his gaze shifting to the television just as Jungkook looked at the camera and mouthed something. A grin slowly spread across Taehyung's lips as he walked forward, his hands bound in front of him. The man he was approaching unaware until the chain of Taehyung's handcuffs were around his neck and he was choking and gasping for air as Taehyung lips were close to his ear.
"Hey buddy ~ mind lending me a hand?" Taehyung whispered.
All hell broke loose as a slaughter began in the jail. Soon Taehyung was walking out the
front entrance, tossing his bloodied clothes in favor of the ones he'd borrowed from someone. Pushing a bloodied hand through his messy black curls and slicking them back as he licked his lips. A car was waiting for him as he got in and sat back with a grin. A bag was tossed into his lap as Taehyung glanced to the side at a familiar face of Hoseok. Hoseok sped off down the road. President Albert sobbed as his body shook.
"P – Please! You don't need to do this!" President Albert said.
Jungkook's eyes closed as he tilted his head, his messy locks falling into his face.
"All great change, requires a little sacrifice." Jungkook said.
The sound of the gun going off filled the air as blood sprayed into the air and a few screams
of shock and horror filled the air as Jungkook slightly opened his eyes and watched as the President's body fell to the floor, lifeless.
"This was yours."
