Jungkook had a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach.

It was rare for him to feel something like this but knowing that what he was about to walk into would break Jimin, unsettled the Alpha. Jungkook stood on the porch to Jimin's parents' house. The door was cracked open, but he could see where the wood was splinter from someone forcing their way inside. The bodies of the men he'd left to protect them scattered about the yard, bullet holes in between their eyes. Jungkook frowned before he took a step forward and pushed the door open slowly. The house was trashed on the inside and clear signs of a struggle present. Jungkook looked around the further he walked in and that sinking feeling grew worse. Jungkook walked all through the house but found nothing on the first floor so he made his way upstairs. Once at the top, he walked to the end of the hallway to the main bedroom. Pushing the door open, Jungkook stood in the entry way as his gaze settled on the two bodies lying on the bed. An older male and female. Jimin's parents. Gunshots to their chests and dried blood stained their clothes.

Jungkook's jaw tightened as he stared at them. They had clearly been gone for at least a day. Jungkook looked around the room, it was trashed too. Jungkook walked towards the bed and leaned down, gently closing their eyes as he closed his own soon after. Normally a scene like this wouldn't phase him but they were Jimin's parents. The grandparents of his pup, the family that would have kept his pup from being completely absorbed into his world.

"No sign of the kid." Taehyung said as he walked into the room and looked around,

a frown on his own lips.

"I doubt he is alive." Jungkook said as he stood up and slightly opened his eyes.

Taehyung walked around the room as he took in the messy sight of it.

"It will just be a matter of when the body shows up." Taehyung said.

"And how." Jungkook said as he turned his head and settled his gaze on Taehyung.

Taehyung paused by the window, pushing the curtain back as he looked outside.

"Hm, this Jester is good. Those were some of our best men." Taehyung said.

Jungkook's eyes slowly narrowed as he slipped his hands into the pockets of his slacks.

"I don't care how good he thinks he is. Find him." Jungkook growled out. Taehyung

turned his head to meet Jungkook's gaze as he slowly smiled, a cold glint to his dark eyes.

"Oh, I plan to." Taehyung said as he turned his head and glanced back outside.

Jungkook glanced back down at Jimin's parents.

"Call the cleaners, make sure they are especially careful with them." Jungkook said

as he turned to leave. Taehyung's eyes lowered as he wet his lips with his tongue before he spoke.

"Are you going to tell Minnie?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook paused in the doorway.

"Isn't it obvious?" Jungkook said through gritted teeth. Taehyung's smile slipped

as he let the curtain fall back into place and he turned to face Jungkook's back.

"I will take care of things." Taehyung said. Jungkook walked away without a word

as he made his way downstairs.

Making his way back to the mansion and telling Jimin about his parents had been difficult even for Jungkook. Jungkook watched Jimin slowly go through the emotions one after another. Confusion, denial, acceptance, sadness and then anger. It was rare for Jungkook to see Jimin get angry. The other was so calm and sweet natured that it seemed more unsettling when he was truly upset. Jimin had screamed, cried and thrown things at the wall before he collapsed into Jungkook's arms. None of this emotional stress could be good for Jimin or the pup but it couldn't be helped at this point. Jimin was curled up against Jungkook as they sat against the headboard. His face half buried in Jungkook's chest as he clung to the Alpha by his arms. Jungkook was silent, not knowing the right words to say for something like this so he allowed his presence to speak for him and comfort his mate. Jimin sniffled as a few more tears slipped from Jimin's bloodshot eyes.
