Be mine

Part 7

I find myself sitting in a hospital room, the beeping of machines and the nose of nurses seem to be surrounding me I look at my dad lying in the hospital bed to my left, he seems so peaceful.  The room looks so bright all the artificial light makes me feel quite dizzy I take my pone out of my blazer pocket I check the time and it says 1:20pm It would be lunch right now the thought of eating makes me feel sick, I just want to go home. My phone beeps it's from Naz, I had texted them about where I was and what happed but they must have been in lessons and didn't get to see it I read the text it says oh no Izzy, I hope you are okay text us if you need anything  I smile at this and put my phone in my pocket, a nurse walks in "Hello miss brown, your dad should be able to get discharged in the next two days to five days" she runs some tests and checks his heart rate she smiles an says "would you like anything, I could get you something to eat, would you like a drink?" I look at her "no thank you, I will be fine for now" I say she walks out and its just me again I decide to get some fresh air by walking outside so I get up and leave the hospital I walk around and find a park I walk up to a bench and place myself down and shut my eyes. 

"Isabelle?" I open my eyes and see a boy on a bike standing in front of me "Jordan?" I say confused, he looks just as confused as I am "what are you doing here" I move up so he can sit down, he rests his bike on the arm of he bench and sits down. His hair looks sweaty and he seems out of breath "I'm not doing it anymore" he replies "doing what" I ask looking at him "school" he gestures his hand in the air "the place is pointless, when I finish my exams what am I going to do? there is no point I am never going to leave Ackley" he continues  he looks towards the distance "what are you doing here" he asks still looking away "my dad" I suddenly remember why he is in the hospital "he had a heart attack" Jordan looks over at me concerned, it seems like he really cares "he will be okay though"  I say, I don't know if he will I am trying to convince myself he will be fine but in reality I am really worried "I can't lose him Jordan" I finally say he places his hand on my back "It's okay" he says and pulls me into a hug, I smell his cologne it makes me feel safe. "run away with me" he whispers I pull away "what!" he smiles "oh go on" I am shocked, I don't know what to say "Jordan what about my dad" he looks in the direction of the hospital "It doesn't matter" he shrugs and looks back at me "are you joking" I ask I feel angry and confused he  seemed so nice and understanding and how he seems like he doesn't care "so your not coming then?" He gets up and shoots me an angry look "No why would I?" I get up and start to walk away "you know you are just like everyone else" he says I turn around roll my eyes and  scoff what is that suppose to mean I think whilst I angrily walk back to the hospital. 

I place my bag on the floor by the chair and sit down next to my dad, I pull out my phone and go on it for about an hour a nurse walks in "hello" she says she seems friendly and I smile "he will become conscious in the next day, it all depends on the extent of the heart attack and luckily his wasn't that bad" she smiles and I say "thank you" she walks out and my phone starts to ring, it's Naz I answer "hello, how are you" she says "I am alright" I say looking around the hospital room "Isabelle you can stay round mine tonight if you don't want to stay on your own" she says " we can pick you up" she says a few moments after, "okay, thank you" I say I am relived she brought it up because I didn't know what I was going to do I look back over at my dad and smile "what time should we get you" she says I look at the clock on the wall and it says 3:45pm school has already finished it seems like time was going so slowly but in reality it wasn't  "would now be okay" I reply "yeah okay, I will text you when we are outside, we can also drop you off at yours to pick up some stuff whilst you are here" I smile I wonder why she is being so nice, I had never really had any close friends at my old school It's nice to have people who you can rely on even though we have only known each other for 2 days "thank you so much" I say and end the call.

What will happen to Isabelle's dad? What's going to happen with Jordan? Will Isabelle and Jordan see each other again? Thank you for the support! I will update tomorrow :)
