Part 13

I find Missy and Nas sitting in the canteen, I walk over to them "oh my God! Izzy" Missy says moving up "Hi" I say looking over at Nas. I tell them what happened but I kept my mouth shut at the reason Jordan was off I figured he would want to keep it personal, "oh I am dead nervous" Missy and Nas are talking about the court trail about her and Hayley "oh it will be fine, won't it Izzy" Nas says looking at me for support "yeah, you know Missy it will all end up fine I promise" I smile and she looks away. She is leaving after break so not long, I check my timetable and I have science the bell goes and we get up I hug Missy "don't worry, she will show" I say Nas hugs her after, we then make our way to our lessons.

I walk in the classroom and see Chloe sitting in the chair next to mine I place my bag down and sit, I look to my left and see Alya rolling her eyes at me. I try to get through the lesson as Chloe says "you know he won't actually stay with you" I look up to see her staring at me, I know what she means "what" I reply "Jordan won't stay with you, he will get what he wants then leave" I scoff and laugh "sorry he didn't like you, you don't have to take it out on me Chloe" she gives me a cold look as she looks away and folds her arms.

It's the end of science, as the teacher is taking all the books everyone moves out the door in a rush I check my timetable and I have art. I head to the lesson and go inside I am looking at the door and I see Mr Qureshi and Cory walk by they seem to be talking, I hope Jordan's okay. I get through art as the lesson seemed fast walk out the door and follow the crowd of people t the canteen.

I walk into the canteen I cant see Nas so I chose to sit on my own and wait for her, she walks in and rushes down to sit next to me "Izzy, have you heard what's happened" she takes her bag off "no" I reply "It's Jordan he ran away, I saw him leave when I was in my lesson" I look at her "oh my God" I mutter we chose to it outside. we are talking as we hear a squeal "Haley!" Razia shouts they run up to each other and hug, as me and Nas get up from the bench to walk over to Missy. We all hug as Razia and Haley take photos together "so she came" Nas says "yeah, late though" Missy laughs "I am so glad Missy" I say smiling, I genuinely was so happy for her.

We get through the rest of the day at school. as I am heading home with Missy and Nas a voice comes up from behind us "Isabelle" I turn around as Jordan is standing there I run up to him and hug him "Jordan, what happened" I whisper I turn to look at Missy and Nas "you guys can go, I will see you tomorrow" I smile and they walk off. "I can't stay there" he says looking at me, he looks worried and a wave of sadness hits his face "you didn't tell the school did you?" I ask he shakes his head and looks down "I couldn't do it" I move his head up "It's okay, you told me. you can stay at mine" I smile but I feel really worried for him on the inside.

We are walking up to my door "will your da be okay with this" he says, I turn to look at him "there is only one way to find out" I open the door and I don't see him on the sofa like he normally is. I walk into the kitchen "dad!" I shout upstairs there is no reply "Izzy, look" I turn to see Jordan holding a note I walk up to him and take a posted note from him, it says I am just going to the shops, be home soon- dad I giggle "I thought he died or something" I say "are you sure he will be fine with this" Jordan says looking at me "Jordan he will be fine, I promise" I get out some glasses and fill them up with water, I give one to Jordan and hold my one and sit down at the table.

We are laughing as it falls silent "I am sorry Isabelle, I shouldn't have brought you into this" Jordan says, he looks away "Jordan it's okay, honestly" I lean in and kiss him, just as I am my dad walks through the door with about 10 bags he places them on the counter top "Isabelle can you help me unpack" he turns around to see Jordan and me sitting at the table "hi?" He says awkwardly "dad can we talk" He nods I turn to Jordan "one sec" I pull my dad into a separate room. "dad don't get angry, that's Jordan he needed somewhere to stay" he looks at the door "dad please, he can sleep in the guest room, he really needs this" he looks back at me "oh okay Isabelle" I smile "thank you dad" and hug him we walk out and Jordan is sitting on the chair.

Sometime later and me and Jordan are sitting in my room on the floor it's 11:00 and dad is sitting downstairs, "Isabelle" Jordan starts I look up at him "yeah" he shuffles around "what s it?" I ask "He is going to kill me" He says bluntly "what!" I say in a loud whisper, before he could speak I ask "who?" He looks up at me "I owe stuff for this guy, If I don't give it to him he will kill me" he looks down "what do you owe this guy?" he doesn't say anything for a moment "money" he says I look at him I realise "drugs Jordan" I say he nods slowly and I sigh and look away.
