The Past/your background story

Levi and you met each other when you were children. You walked past him during one of his fights while you were munching on a bread you just stole. You were good at stealing, never got caught in the act. When you saw him fight you stopped in your track and watched him. He fought against two men and it looked like he would win. Lucky you, you never had to fight against two men. You only got yourself in a few fights. You weren't the best or the worst fighter but you didn't like fighting against other humans so you tried your best to avoid fights. It didn't took long until those men laid beaten up on the dirty ground. You clapped. The stolen bread in your mouth. Levi turned to you. He stared at you without a trace of emotions. "What do you want?" he asked coldly. You stopped clapping and took the bread back in your hands. "What do I want?..hmm.. " you put your pointer finger on your chin: "Cookies. I heard those taste good." Levi gave you a 'are-you-fucking-seriously-look'. "I'm (y/n) by the way." you introduced yourself with a sweet smile: "My mother own a tea shop." He looked you up and down, questioned if he should trust you or not. "I'm Levi." he told you. "Nice to meet you, Levi. I hope we can be good friends.", you smiled. "We won't." "Oh! Come on!"
Since that day you became good friends, heck if not best friends. But one day your mother got into debts. No one brought her tea anymore. The shop got closed and your mother got depressed. The tea shop was her biggest dream. Few days after she got ill and died. Levi helped you during this hard time. At some point you moved together. You didn't really had a place to live.

Time goes by and Levi joined a gang, a guy named Furlan moved in and a girl named Isabel showed up. You all became good friends even if you weren't part of the gang. You didn't want to be part and Levi found the gang too dangerous for you and your clumsiness. But you still sometimes helped out. For example when they planned stealing the ODM gears you were part of this plan. You were excited to get one of those gears in your hands. Those were always interesting to you. You wanted to know how they functioning and you just wanted to fly. It was a little dream you had. When you guys finally got them you used it every day and trained. You loved it and got pretty good at using it.

Months later they got a job. They didn't told you much about it, just that they had to steal some documents from the survey corps. You weren't really interested in this. So you didn't really knew a lot about it.
On the day of the mission, you guys said your goodbyes to each other and you gave everyone a kiss on the cheek. Levi gave you some pats on your head, Isabel gave you a kiss on the cheek back and Furlan just chuckled. Isabel and Furlan put their hoods on and went outside the door. Levi stood in front of you and put his hands on your shoulders. "Don't do something stupid and stay at home.", he said with a very serious face. You smiled at him: "Don't worry about me." He let out a heavy sigh. "Just don't get hurt, (y/n)" You nodded: "I will be fine." He gave you a small kiss on your forehead. Last time they were on a mission you got injured. You went outside and got into a fight with someone who was taller and much stronger than you. You got badly injured during the fight. The underground wasn't a nice place. Levi put his hood on like Isabel and Furlan did. You said one last time bye and waved at them until Levi closed the door. There your were, alone again. You decided to read a book but you got bored after some pages so you went outside...even though Levi said not to. You put your shoes on and went outside. You didn't really had a place to go so you just walked around.
Suddenly you heard voices around the corner. Some were familiar, some not. You looked around the corner. Your eyes widen. There were Levi, Isabel and Furlan with the survey corps. You didn't know what they were saying so you went nearer to them. "Ehm.. Excuse me, what is going on here?" you asked with a sweaty smile. All the eyes were on you. Isabel and Furlan were surprised. Levi at first too but he got quickly mad. "(y/n)! What the fuck are you doing here?! I told you to stay at home!" "Staying at home ist boring!" you replied: "And also you got shit on your face. Did you fall in a toilet or what? " He looked at you angry while you just snickered. Erwin cleared his throat to get the attention of all. You and him made eye contact. "My name is Erwin Smith. We're going to arrest your friends." Erwin explained. You crossed your arms in front of your chest. "Not without me." you said: "I'm (y/n) (l/n) by the way." Your eyes landed on Erwin's ODM gear. You could hear Erwin's voice in the background but you didn't focus on it. All your attention belonged to the ODM gear. Were they different than yours? You looked up to make sure that everyone was focused on Erwin. They were. You looked at Erwin. When he closed his eyes you went forward and got his gas bottle out of his ODM gear. "Wow, what a heavy boy." you commented. Erwin looked at you surprised. But before someone could say something you got tackled on the ground and got knocked out.

You waked up in a unfamiliar room, in a unfamiliar bed with unfamiliar light and smell. You sat up. Your head hurt like hell. You touched your head and felt a bandage around it. "You're finally awake." a voice stated. You looked at the source of the voice. It was Erwin. "Where's.. Levi?" you asked. Levi was usually the first person you saw when you wake up. "He's at the training with your other two friends." Erwin answered. He stood at the door. "I apologize for the tackle. Your sudden action took us of guard." said Erwin. You just nodded. "Where am I?" was your next question. "In the infirmary of the survey corps." Erwin told you: "I'm sorry, you don't have a choice other than to join the survey corps. Your training begins tomorrow." You stared at him. "'Kay." You didn't really have other words and apparently didn't have an other choice. So you just accepted it. Erwin seemed again surprised but he shook it of. "I have to go. Bye." said Erwin and left the room. You waved goodbye. Didn't really want to talk. You laid back and closed your eyes. These few minutes were exhausting but you couldn't sleep. You just laid there and thought about this situation.

First time going outside the walls. You were excited and scared at the same time. You looked to your friends. They told you about their plan and their mission. You didn't know what to think about it. You looked to Erwin. You guys didn't talked that much during your time. Your gaze landed on Hanji and Mike. You liked them. You talked a lot with Hanji. Hanji became a good friend of yours. You were at first a little creeped out by Mike because he sniffed often on your hair. You got used to it but Levi not. Levi still get mad at him every time he does it.
The gates opened and you all rode screaming outside. Well not all of you were screaming but most of you.

"Why is it so rainy today?" you asked and narrowed your eyes. "Don't know but it's the perfect timing to sneak up on Erwin and get the documents." replied Furlan. You side eyed Levi. "I'm going to fucking kill him.", said Levi: "I ride to him, get the documents and kill him." You all nodded in agreement. "Stay safe, Levi." you said. Levi let out a amused breath: "Says the right person. Stay safe, all of you. " With that Levi rode off.
Just few minutes later, titans showed up suddenly. You tried your best to kill them but it were too many. You heard Isabel scream. Your gaze shifted to her and your eyes widen with horror. Suddenly a giant hand slapped you away. You hit a tree and fell to the ground. You lost slowly your consciousness.
