Hello! I have hit a small bit of writer's block so this is a small chapter, sorry :( the next one will be longer, promise. Good news tho, my story hit #930 under herosofolympus, but on my phone it said #841!!! Yes I know that it's not that big of a deal but I was very happy. Also, happy late start of Lent to my Christian friends ;)

Percy's POV:

The 9 of them stood up immediately. At the border, stood the two large golden figures. Percy didn't think that mechanical bulls could regenerate, but he didn't question it. He took Luke away from Piper, then handed him to Annabeth. She looked up at him like he was crazy, her face as to say what do you expect me to do about it?

"What is that?!" Leo asked.

"Colchis Bull," Percy and Annabeth said simultaneously. He ignored the others for a second and looked at Annabeth.

He grabbed her by the shoulders, turning her to face him fully. "Annabeth, take the kids and go back to the house, the Poseidon or Athena cabin," he demanded.

"I wanna fight Percy! Please let me," She whined. "You know what, I don't need your approval. I'm going- hey!"

Percy pulled her back, stopping her from moving. "Annabeth, go to safety. If you really want to help, get Will and Nico," he commanded. Percy knew she hated being told what to do, but he didn't care.

She scoffed, "Fine." Annabeth turned around and jogged away.

Percy turned back to the others. "Mechanical bulls created by Hephaestus. They spit fire, so watch out." They turned to him after he said that. He realized he had been spending too much time with Annabeth.

He ignored their looks and pulled out riptide. Hazel grabbed her Spatha, Jason his Gladius, Piper Katoptris, and the others their weapon of choice. He charged up the hill to face the bulls. He figured this might be more Leo's ideal fight because of his fire resistance, but he didn't hold back. Next to him, Thalia and Jason called down lighting, which wasn't doing much. Jason flew up on top of the bull and sat on its neck, grabbing its horns. This didn't last long as he was knocked off and was thrown ironically into his sister's tree.

"Jason!" Piper screamed. She tried to run over to him but was stopped by the other bull. Percy shoved her out of the way just before she could be burned to a crisp. They stood up fast before they could be trampled.

Leo, Hazel, and Frank were fighting the other bull with no success. The former sorceress was nowhere to be seen.

"You have to kill it from the inside out," Percy shouted.

"How are we supposed to do that?!" Hazel yelled.

Thankfully, Thalia understood. She notched an arrow and shot it down the throat of the first bull. It stuttered and slowed down a bit.

"Hit the deck!" Frank screamed as shot another arrow down it's mouth, and it exploded. Everyone did what he said, except for Piper, who just shielded a now unconscious Jason.

Not even 30 seconds after the first bull went down, Leo shouted, "Stay down!" And chucked a vial of Greek fire down its throat. Why he was carrying that around in his tool belt, Zeus knows why. The second bull made an even bigger explosion than the first. The last thing Percy saw was Hazel running over to him, and then he blacked out.

Calypso's POV:

Calypso wasn't the most helpful in battle. So, while the rest of the others ran towards the fight, she ran away from it, and followed Annabeth. The two of them had a rocky start for obvious reasons. They didn't really affiliate with each other for about a year before eventually becoming good friends. She figured if she wasn't going to fight, she might as well help Annabeth out with the babies. She caught up to her and took Silena from her. Annabeth jumped for a minute, then sighed in relief, seeing it was only Calypso.

"Thanks, Cal," she said.

"Anytime," Calypso responded.

The two of them ran through the doors of the infirmary (the hospital was for surgeries and major medical issues, the infirmary was more of an ER and battle wound place. Will happened to work at both). Before them, they found Will and Nico having a nice conversation over a meal.

"What the Hades are you guys doing?!" Annabeth exclaimed. "There are monsters at the border!"

"What?!" Nico said, standing up. At the same time, Will screamed "Shit!" and stood up as well.

"You two stay here," Will commanded the women in the room. "Be ready for anyone that comes back, okay?" He didn't wait for an answer as he and Nico ran out the doors. Annabeth sighed and sat down on one of the beds, looking glum.

"What's wrong?" Calypso asked, sitting on a bed across from Annabeth.

"I feel so useless," She started. "I can't even fight and even if Percy let me, I haven't done it for almost a year."

"Welcome to the club," Calypso mumbled. "I've been off Ogygia for years now and still barely have my powers back, I can't fight either."

"I feel like I'm a child. Percy has been treating me like I'm some porcelain doll that will break at any moment. I know that he's just trying to look out for me and it's sweet in a sense, but he has to let me out sometime."

"To be fair," Calypso argued. "You did just give birth a week ago. He's just trying to make sure you don't hurt yourself and while it might not be what you wanna hear, being a mother to your children is kind of top priority right now. But I do get what you're saying."

Annabeth stayed silent for a minute, processing what she heard. Calypso just played with Silena's little feet in the silence. Just then, an explosion was heard from outside.

"What was that?" Calypso said nervously.

"I don't know, I guess we'll find out soon."

About 20 minutes later, Will Solace and Nico di Angelo came back in carrying a passed out Jason. Annabeth and herself moved out of the way, making the beds available. Behind him Piper and Hazel carried Leo, Frank and Thalia carrying Percy. Both Leo and Percy were also unconscious. Annabeth and Calypso ran over to their respective man, hovering over them.

"Oh gods," Annabeth gasped. "What happened?" she sat next to Percy who was now in a bed. He had multiple scratches on his face, a long gash down his left arm. He looked sick in the face too, but other than that he was fine.

Leo on the other hand, was smoldering from head to toe, that was kind of his usual state though. He also looked sick in the face.

"Both of the bulls exploded, but the second one was due to the vial of Greek fire that Leo threw down its throat. Percy and him happened to be the closest to it when it occurred. Both of them dropped like flies after it. Jason however, was thrown off the back of the bull into a tree and hit his head hard," Hazel explained.

Calypso found some nectar in the cabinets while she was talking, and began to pour some down the boys' mouths.

"He didn't look this bad after the last time..." Annabeth mumbled.

"What do you mean last time?" Piper asked.

"Long story."

"Most likely they all got small concussions," Will explained. "They should be fine though."

Calypso sighed. The rest of their friends moved out of the room, except for herself, Annabeth, and Piper.

"Do you think there was something behind the attack? Or purpose for it?" Piper asked.

"No," Annabeth answered, stroking Percy's hair. "At least I hope not. Sometimes attacks like that happen just out of an instinct for revenge in monsters."

Calypso groaned inwardly. There would probably still be a counselors meeting about it. This year especially, the attacks on camp had been very minimal. That meant for every one, someone would freak out and think it was the sign of a new war. Great. Yet another useless, long meeting.

Hope you enjoyed! I know I don't usually  write these at the bottom, but I will try to have the next one up this week :P
