Sorry it took a while school is starting back up full time for me so it's a little hard, plus I have sports. Between this and the next chapter I will have a character breakdown with the time setting in relevance to the books and relationship status. I HIGHLY SUGGEST READING IT.

nope.

Annabeth's POV:

Annabeth called Sally and told her about what happened. She explained how she didn't think that they would be able to make it tomorrow, which Sally being the gracious woman she is, understood.

It was about 9:30 and all of the seven, plus Calypso, were in the Jackson's living room. They were currently trying to keep Jason, Percy, and Leo awake.

"And why might I ask can't we sleep again?" Leo groaned.

"Because," Annabeth explained, "There is a risk of seizures and brain damage when you are asleep within the first hours of having a concussion."

"But I'm tired..." Percy whined.

"Suck it up then," Annabeth said.

Jason's head was lolling next to Percy, so Piper grabbed the nearest shoe and chucked it at him, successfully hitting his face.

They all laughed at his startled face and Leo whistled.

"Damn, Pipes," He smirked. "You're starting to act like Annabeth-"

He was cut off by another sandal hitting him from across the room via Annabeth.

"Can it, Valdez," She laughed.

"Aside from that," Piper started, "How were the babies today?"

"Pretty good," Annabeth replied. "Silena was fussy as usual but Luke was good."

"What's it like?" Hazel mused. "To know that they are yours and a mix of you both."

"Amusing and awing," She answered.

"And tiring," Percy mumbled. "But worth it."

"You sure about that?" Piper sneered. "We could hear your screams from down the hospital hallway."

Annabeth blushed and hid her face, while Jason and Frank turned red from the awkwardness. The rest of the room laughed in amusement.

"I wasn't implying that!" Annabeth rebuked. Percy leaned over and kissed her head.

They carried the conversation a little longer until they couldn't all but help feel exhausted from the long day. They bid their friends good night and went to bed.

Time skip to two days later

By 9:30, Annabeth and Percy had all their things together and were ready to head into the city. Annabeth couldn't help but feel bad that the babies were over a week old, and Sally hadn't even seen them. She recalled when Estelle was born, her and Percy were on a date at the time Sally went into labor. He was so excited about it (as was she), and together they rushed through New York City to the hospital. Not long after their arrival, they got to go back to the room. Percy's face was so happy when he saw his sister. She remembered Sally saying something about how he would be a good father. How right she was. Her thoughts were interrupted by her husband.

"Ready to go?" He suggested carefully, putting a hand on her shoulder. He knew better than to interrupt her when she was in deep thought.

She smiled back at him. "Yeah."

It didn't take long to get to the Jackson-Blofis apartment. That is, in New York time. While it still took about an hour, the ride went better than Annabeth expected. It was the first time the babies had been in the car, and they didn't give too much trouble. Before she knew it they were outside the apartment door. Annabeth was carrying Luke in his bassinet, Percy carrying Silena.
