*IMPORTANT*So this one is a random collection of fluffy events, so enjoy. Also, I have a decent amount left in this story, but all good things must come to an end. HOWEVER, I think I'm going to write a prequel to this so if you would like that, let me know. It would start from them coming out of Tartarus, up until the very start of this story. It would include proposal, end or war, wedding, Annabeth's pregnancy, etc. Comment to tell me if you would like this please ;)
Percy's POV:
Percy was enjoying his morning around camp before it was interrupted by a scream from the Athena cabin. Annabeth had gone there for the day to be with all of her siblings and it sounded like her voice. It was followed by more.
He rushed to cabin 6 and flung open the door. Inside, all of the Athena kids were standing on chairs or beds or couches or each other. They were all lined around the perimeter of the room. Annabeth stood on a chair she was sharing with Malcolm, her face a complete sheet of white. Her mouth was slightly open and she looked frozen in terror. Athena herself, stood slightly closer to the middle of the room with her 6 foot long spear pointed towards the ground.
Percy didn't see anything unusual. "What's wrong?"
"There's a spider!" one of the younger girls shrieked.
Percy almost had the nerve to laugh, but would probably be killed if he did. "Where?"
"In the middle of the room!" a boy, whose name he thought was Alexander.
It was hard to take them seriously. Malcolm held a lighter with the flame glowing on the top, one of Annabeth's sisters had a sword pointed in the general direction, and another held a gallon of bleach.
"Percy, kill it!" Annabeth sobbed. Out of anyone in the room, she probably feared the thing the most. After her encounter with Arachne, her fear had increased by tenfold.
He turned to Athena, "Don't your owls eat these?"
"They do," she answered, "but they don't like these ones."
"So, why can't you kill it?" he stated, gesturing to her spear.
"Well I didn't say I liked these things either!"
Percy walked over to the center of the room, where Athena held her spear. On the ground was a spider so small he almost missed it. The thing wasn't even an inch long. He picked it up by the leg. A medley of gasps and screams were heard around the room. Annabeth passed out from her chair. He was about to walk over to her, but holding a spider might have made it worse. Thankfully, Malcolm dropped the lighter and caught her before she hit the floor.
He was about to toss it out the door before one of the girls screamed. "No! What if it comes crawling back?!"
"Here," the other girl passed him the gallon of bleach. "Kill it please."
He rolled his eyes before walking to the bathroom. He set the spider in the sink before pouring the bleach over it, per their request. The spider shriveled up and went down the drain. Percy walked back into the room. "Gone."
They all sighed or thanked him. Annabeth was now standing up again. Percy picked her up and carried her like he would with one of his children. She didn't say anything, just melted into him. Annabeth was not the type to show some soft side around her mother or siblings, but spiders were different to them. He shifted her around so he carried her piggy-back style.
"So, am I done here or do I have to do something else?"
One of Annabeth's brothers, Zane, glanced at him. "No, you can get out."
