Embraced in the blend of sandalwood and cinnamon, Alessio admired his enthralling fiancée because the fact that he's engaged (and almost married) to Messiah is baffling, from beside him on the plush, ivory couch.

His moussed, inky curls veiled his godlike face, that bathed in the sun's feathery kisses, and painted his bronze skin in constellation-like shadows.

The rosy tint, faint on his cheekbones, and the soft highlight, delicately on the curve of his jaw, as well as below his eyelids, enhanced his mate's beauty.

The colors of white and green washed the surrounding canvas, swirling with the shades of blue in the skyline.

The golden flecks in his eyes almost veiled the chocolate hue, as he radiated with happiness, and created a solar eclipse.

The emotions of joy and love he basked in were deafening, compared to the distant voice in his head. Because of the medication that flowed through his veins, the voice became an echo in the gleeful howls of Aleskei and the waves of happiness drowning him from Messiah's hand being intertwined with his.

Above them, a makeshift canopy, made out of white roses, dangled, and the fragrance that juxtaposed the scent of his mate tickled his nose. Because of the faint breeze, the roses emolliently waltzed in a kaleidoscopic motion.

Messiah was dressed in a steel-grey tuxedo, juxtaposed to the dust-pink tuxedo, made out of satin, over a baby blue dress shirt Alessio was wearing. Their masculinity and femininity of their personalities were contrasted through their tuxedos.

"Let's move onto the vows," the minister said, as he faced Messiah, "Messiah."

"Alessio, you have heard what's famously known as the three little words from me a hundred times today. I know you love hearing them as much as I love saying them. Because you smile like a million fireflies.

Because your eyes light up like crepuscular rays bleeding through the sheer, baby blue curtains you begged me to hang up — for blue was your mom's favorite color. Because you fiddle with a loose wave of your hair.

Because you stare down at our gray and white, marbled floors, your glossed lips between your teeth, as you twirl the diamond ring around your finger. Because you stumble out an "I love you, too," cheeks flushed behind the veil of your hair. Until I soar towards the sun like Icarus, I'll always say those three little words because I love you to the moon and back."

"Alessio," the minister calls Alessio back to the surface, away from the blissful pools of olive threatening to suffocate him.

His eyes watery, he fumbles out, "When I said that I didn't deserve you before I realized I fell in love with you, I misspoke. I do deserve you. I deserve someone who never fails to be patient with me. I deserve someone who'll always stay up into the odd hours of the night, to simply comfort me, never once asking me to talk.

I deserve someone who solely cuddles with me whenever my self-esteem is low, never once initiating more. I deserve someone who does not let go of my hand when they can tell I'm tense.

All I ever wanted in life was someone who loved me selflessly and never convinced me I was less of a queen.

To summarize my series of anaphoras, Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." After my fruitless attempts at both, I realized, Messiah, you've shown me love and have given me light."

Hung from the oak-wood ceiling rafters were iridescent lightbulbs and branches of ivy. In the center of the tables, circular and covered with faint-bronze tablecloths, were bouquets of white gardenias and blush, avalanche roses.
