Skylar's POV

I woke up to Finnick shaking my shoulders telling me to get up. I got up and went out of the room only to be met with the smell of pancakes and syrup.

When I went into the dinning room I saw the whole group all sat together. Eating. I just smiled and everyone turned to me. And they all started to smile to. I sat down and had a stack of pancakes with syrup. 

We all went down to the training centre together. And everyone else seemed a little intimidated because all 6 of us victors walked out of elevator with me in the front. Leading the group. Haymitch went over to the side where all the people from the capital (sponsors) go. He gave me a quick hug before taking off. Then they all split up. Joanna went over to the axes, Finnick went to the tridents, Wiress and Beetee went over to the fire making. I went over to the archery to see another girl already practicing. I didn't recognise her but I think this is the girl I saw Haymitch with. 

I went over to see how Beetee and Wiress were getting on with the fire they were trying to create. 

"How's it going?" I signed to them.

"Could be better." Beetee replied.

"How so?" I signed to him.

"We could be back at our districts." He said obviously annoyed about being back here.

"I know how you feel."

When I had just finished my signing. Katniss Everdeen walked over to me and the others. I tensed up in an instant. Beetee noticed this because he motioned for me to sit next to him. So I sat down. They continued trying to make the fire. 

"Try moving your hands up and down and faster." Katniss said to Beetee.

"A little brute force always works." Wiress said to me and Beetee.

"Force field." Beetee said I looked over to where the sponsors where all sat waiting. I saw a shimmering in the corner.

"Electro magnetic?" I asked.

"Definitely." 

"Excuse me?" Katniss asked.

"They've put up a barrier clearly separating us from them." Beetee answered.

"Probably my doing I shot an arrow at the most year." She said.

"Electro magnetic as well." Beetee informed her.

"How can you tell?" She asked. Wiress just burst out laughing. "What is it obvious or something."

"Might as well have a sign." Wiress announced still chuckling.

"Up next to the coffee table." Beetee informed her. She looked but saw nothing. I adjusted her head.

"Ok I see the barrier but how can you tell that it's electro magnetic?" 

"See how much power it's taking up." Beetee said. That's when realisation hit her.

"I'll see you later going to do target practice." I signed to Wiress. She gave me back a nod of understanding. 

"Ok see ya later."

Katniss' POV

"What was that?" I asked referring to her weird hand movements.

"Since her Hunger Games she hasn't spoken but she learned sign language." He replied I nodded to say I understand. 

"Anyway I have to go to the tech table bye." Said Beetee whilst walking off.

I looked around to see Skylar with a bow and arrow with a load of tributes surrounding her. In the training centre. Some looking in awe others proud. Then there was some of the career pack looking envious and annoyed. She was to engrossed in her targets to notice.

Skylar's POV

I walked over to the high tech target practice I chose a bow and arrow and walked in. I set the difficulty from easy to extreme. I notched up three arrows and aimed at three targets all running at me with daggers. That's when an arrow went flying past my ear missing only because I ducked. I turned around to see an archer standing behind a pillar and shot at them straight into their skull. And so on. the only thing I didn't realise was the crowd outside the window watching me.

Once finished everyone was crowded around the doors. I put the bow back where I got it along with the arrows. I took one step out the door and immediately went to Finnick and Joanna. then we all walked out of the training centre because times was up.  

Me, Finnick and Joanna went back to mine and Finnicks floor. I went over to the sofa and jump onto it while grabbing a book off the table. I just sat there reading until Joanna gave and shoved my feet off the other end of the sofa. I gave her a glare and she just sat down. Then she turned on the Tv in the background. Finnick sat in the chair to the right of Joanna. They started talking about who we should have as allies.
