75th Hunger Games

Skylar's POV

It has been 2 years since my Hunger Games. I have grown closer to Joanna and Haymitch. I am with them all now at mine and Finnicks place. We are watching the announcement from President Snow. 

"Hello as you all know this year is the 75th Hunger Games. That makes it a quater quell. This years the third quater quell and to show that no one can over power the capitol the tributes will be reaped from the current pool of victors."

Everyone reacted to this differently: Joanna started shouting and cursing at the Tv, Annie started crying into Finnicks chest whilst he sat there showing no emotion just giving Annie a side hug. Haymitch threw the alcohol he had in his hand at the Tv. Mags watched me for a reaction. That's when everyone turned to me to see my reaction because I have to go in again because Annie wasn't mentally able whereas Mags wasn't physically able. I just stood up and started running I ran to the forest around the village and climbed a tree I knew no one else could and sat there crying.

A few minutes later everyone came running out to find I hid myself in the branches. As I was climbing higher the twig I had my foot on snapped and I pulled up my foot but it gave away my position. Everyone crowded round the tree calling my name I just climbed higher. Until Joanna started climbing I knew she would catch me easily she's from district 7 filled with trees so she's had loads of practice. I just sat on the branch nearest me. Joanna came and sat next to me. She then pulled me into side hug. 

*time skip to reaping*

"Shall we start then. Ladies first." Brigit Sid giving me a sad glance and putting her hand into the bowl and then pulled out the name. "Annie Cresta." At this Annie started to have a breakdown. 

I just raised my hand and walked up to Brigit and gave her a sad smile. She walked over to the other side and grab out a name from the bowl. "Finnick Odair."

"This years tributes for district 4 Skylar and Finnick Odair may the odds be ever in your favour." That was when I had hands grab my arms and pull me back this scared me so much I started to freak out then Finnick saw this and came over to me and dropped his arm over my shoulder in reassurance. "We will get through this." He whispered in my ear. "You have to win Fin you just have to" I signed to him.

That's when we got to the train. "Can we watch the other reapings please Fin to see who were against?" "Sure Sky." Was all he said before turning on the Tv to the reapings.

Katniss' POV

We were watching the reapings to see who we are against. That's when we got to one who I recognised. "That's Finnick Odair right?" I asked Haymitch.

"Yes youngest male victor at 14 extremely humble." He replied.

"Your kidding." I said sass in my voice.

"In the public he is peacock. But with people he's close he is humble." He said sincerity lacing his tone.

"Weaknesses?" Peter asked obviously bored.

"One his younger sister Skylar volunteered Annie she is 15 won her games at 13 youngest tribute ever"

"Is she dangerous?" I asked. Curiously.

"Very killed 15 alone at cornucopia. Never had any allies. Then killed 5 all by drowning them at the end. You'll want her as an allie" I was shocked to here this.

"Surely when it comes down to it he won't protect her." I said looking straight at Haymitch.

"I'm not sure she needs looking after." Peeta said next to me.

"Peeta's right she has a lot of respect from nearly everyone all the victors except two love her and are like her older siblings. Then the capital will do anything for her. She tells them to beg on their knees they would do it without a second thought." I scoff.
