Downstairs, Brian was still chasing after the ginger-haired French girl. Unbeknownst to him, a man was following him around. He watched him run into a section that read, "Littérature et arts orientaux." Brian managed to catch up to the girl at one of the shelves. He fixed his hair and curled his faux mustache. The girl was reading when she heard Brian clearing his throat. He grabbed her hand and said in his French accent, " 'Scuse me, miss. Before you ask, let me say that underneath this mustache is a handsome young man."
He kisses her hand, making the girl giggle. Then, Brian heard a voice from his Bluetooth. "Brian. Are you there?" It was Xenna.
He turned on his watch and said, "Not now. I'm busy." He turned his attention back to the girl. "So...mind if we, how do you say, exchange numbers?"
"Oúi."
While the girl was reaching into her purse, he heard Dylan on his Bluetooth. "Brian, this is serious. You need to leave now."
"Why? Did you guys figure out the map?"
"We'll explain later. Right now, you need to call the jet and get to the exit. I think the traders found us."
"You thought correctly."
When the agents turned the corner, Dylan and Xenna ran into Tulio and another jewel trader. They backed away, but two more jewel traders showed up. Xenna turned on her microphone for Brian to hear the exchange.
"Now, let's cut to the case. Where's the map?"
"Uh oh," Brian said in his normal voice. "Uh, change of plans. I gotta go." He turned to leave but stopped to say, "Until we meet again..." Brian began to kiss up her arm when he felt a hand grab his shoulder. Suddenly, he found himself flying out of the section. Then, he rolled over and saw three traders surrounding him. The girl whom he was pursuing kissed one of the traders before sauntering away.
"I...I'm guessing you two know each other?"
The mustached agent ran to find the others as the traders chased after him. On the other side of the library, Tulio was getting impatient.
"Look, kids. We don't have all day. So, give us the map, and we won't lay a hand on you."
"We don't know what you're talking about," Dylan answered.
"Come on. We're not stupid. We know you guys have it." Tulio looks over to Xenna. "Perhaps your partner here can tell us where it is."
"Je ne comprends pas," Xenna said. "Je ne parle pas anglais."
Tulio leans down at her and growls, "Tu penses que je n'ai jamais étudié le français aussi, ma chérie ? Arrête de faire l'imbécile et donne-moi la carte."
Dylan looked down and saw that Tulio had a gun on him. He looked up and saw a librarian wheeling a cart of books to the shelves.
Suddenly, Dylan pressed a button on his watch and shocked Tulio in the thigh. Then, he elbowed one trader and flipped him over while Xenna used the second trader to knock the third trader into the book cart. Tulio took out his gun and opened fire on the agents. This sudden noise alerted the visitors and employees to leave the building. The traders chased Dylan and Xenna back in the direction they came from but got caught in the stampeding crowd.
Meanwhile, Brian was still running from his group of traders. He looked back to check if they were still following him and ran into Dylan and Xenna. Both maps fell out of Xenna's purse when she fell.
"Brian!"
"Sorry! I was running from those traders. They followed us here."
"Tell us something we don't know!"
