LJ POV
I come back after class exhausted. I lie in bed having thoughts about when me and Peter will see each other again. For just a second the universe is peaceful and life is good and then you are thrown a curveball and you don't know what to expect anymore. That's how I feel with Peter sometimes.
I grab my phone and make sure he hasn't called me, I decide to call him. He picks up. I say "Hey, I miss you. Are you exited for the game this weekend?" He pauses to think and then says "I miss you to Covey, and yes, I am very exited for the game. But, I have something important to ask you." I respond with "What is it?" This is either going to go good or bad. What if he breaks up with me?! Wait. That would never happen. Calm down Lara Jean.
When I'm finally listening to the conversation again, I hear him say, "Would you want to come home with me for Thanksgiving?" I can barely withhold my excitement when I say, "Oh my gosh! Yes!! I would love to!" I can't wait to come home and cover him with kisses. I start planning our trip home. We could go to the diner, back to our high school, and the carnival. We could get cotton candy, ride the roller-coaster, and maybe I could win another snow globe.
PETER POV
Once I get off the phone with LJ I go to take a shower. As I'm showering I think about Lara Jean. Covey is hot. Really hot. And not to mention sexy, beautiful, and kind. And she choose you. It would be unthinkable for me to break up with her. Still, there are some pretty hot girls at Stanford. I quickly yell at myself "What the hell are you thinking Peter?! You have your dream girl, and if you screw that up.... "
