A New Love Part 1

  It was just an average day for Sophie. She woke up only a few minutes late, so she was still in time for Foxfire with minutes to spare.

She chatted with Biana as they walked down the hall, even though Sophie only partly payed attention to Biana's ramblings about some new fashion store in Atlantis.

"Sophie?"Biana said,"Are you even listening to me?"

"Umm- uh yeah."

Sophie shook her head and snapped out of her gaze across the hall.

Biana looked to see where she was looking and grinned.

A particularly hot guy was talking to a few girls. His uniform was untucked and unbuttoned at the bottom so you could see his well toned abs. Apparently he wasn't wearing an undershirt like most of the guys did. He was hot as ever. A twinkle in his eye sealed the deal for Sophie.

Sophie was officially in love with this guy.

The Vacker girl playfully nudged her.

"Head over heels?"

Sophie wasn't listening, so she nodded and Biana cackled silently.

The guy looked up at Sophie and flashed a smile.

"'Scuse me, ladies but I have to go now."

"Bye Ronan!"

He walked straight towards Sophie and took her hand without thinking. Immediately he let go and said,"May I?"

Sophie nodded, staring into his eyes.

Ronan took her hand again and stared into her brown eyes.

They stayed that way for several minutes until the bell snapped them out of their trance.

"I-uh,"Ronan started to say,"Ronan Lackner, hail me anytime."

Sophie just nodded.

"Sophie Foster-Ruewen."

With that Ronan squeezed her hands once and dropped them. With a wave, he walked down the hallway.

Sophie stood there for a minute before hurrying to her class.

At lunch, Sophie was barely paying attention to Biana once again.

The blond girl had spotted Ronan at a nearby table and couldn't stop staring at him.

He had noticed and smiled at Sophie. She immediately turned red. His cheeks had sported a deep pink as well.

"Oh my gosh! Are you staring at that Ronan dude again?"Biana asked.

Sophie subconsciously nodded.

"Did you not know who he is?"

Sophie gave her friend a confused look.

"His parents own a really big restaurant in Atlantis and they are part-time really important emissaries for the council! The Lackner's are famous for their restaurant,"Biana informed her.

"Oh ok."

"We should go there sometime when Ronan is working,"Biana squealed."I guarantee he would totally be flirting with you the whole time!"

She turned a shade redder.

"Oh come on Sophie! You obviously like him! It's a good chance to get away from my brother and Keefe and get yourself a good guy!"
